This was my first time in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very pretty, warm and welcoming. The staff was especially attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the chicken franchise which was plentiful and delicious. My son ordered a steak dish that he also loved. We will definitely be back.

Always an amazing experience at Lumis. The staff is wonderful and always looking for a way to make your visit even more enjoyable. Best place to order filet mignon as they are never stingy with the portions. Their vegetables are always cooked perfectly as well.

My Caesar salad was excellent. I had one of the boneless chicken dishes, I believe it was Chicken Lumis, & it was very good except for the fact that the chicken was not tender. Two others in my group had Chicken Parmesan & agreed with me. I would not have mentioned it but when clearing the plates my waiter asked how it was & I mentioned the chicken being a bit tough - he noticed that I hadn’t eaten much of it & kindly asked if I wanted something else. He actually removed the cost from our bill which was a very nice gesture. We all agreed that despite the very good service & ambiance of the restaurant, the food was not as good as some of our other usual restaurant choices. My friend remembered that she didn’t care for the fish the last time she ate there so ordered the chicken instead. The person who ordered a pasta dish said it was excellent. It’s a shame that such an ambitious restaurant, with much to appreciate, will not be on our go-to list. Perhaps this review will inspire some simple changes.

Bar-like atmosphere but food more upscale. Service was very attentive. Expect higher noise level than regular restaurant dining. Salads were delicious but too much salt in the main dish. Would make note of that going forward.

The bread is terrible for an Italian restaurant. Clams oregano’s were small and mostly breading. The mussels app was just ok. Entrees were delicious. Dessert is good but the zeppoles they push but they’re gluten free which we did not like and they don’t tell you that when you order them. Also, the place was incredibly loud. It was difficult to hear conversation at the table. We would not frequent this restaurant.
