Nestled within The Flat Iron Hotel, a historic boutique hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, Luminosa's carefully designed space radiates a welcoming tavern ambiance. Our culinary heart is a wood-burning oven, infusing a "touch of fire" into handmade pizzas, house-made pastas, and locally sourced vegetables. Our new favorite restaurant in Asheville!the gnocchi was the best we have ever had! Our server, Ace, was phenomenal! Friendly, interesting and knowledgeable! The inside was warm and inviting. It was a wonder experience!

This was our first visit to Luminosa, and as Chef House was always a favorite, we have been waiting for them to open for months. The food was world class (we just returned from three weeks in Provence, so this and other travels provide a basis for comparison) and the service was the best we can ever recall. Luminosa will be our restaurant of choice, and we will be back soon and go often. We thank all for a most memorable meal and dining experience.

The food was delicious. The menu is limited. If you charge thar much for red wine, have proper glasses to serve it in. To charge $15 for bread is nuts.
