Nestled within The Flat Iron Hotel, a historic boutique hotel in Asheville, North Carolina, Luminosa's carefully designed space radiates a welcoming tavern ambiance. Our culinary heart is a wood-burning oven, infusing a "touch of fire" into handmade pizzas, house-made pastas, and locally sourced vegetables. Kristin provided outstanding service. The sides and salads were delicious, and the gnocchi was excellent. The pizza was disappointing-the bottom crust was wet, causing the toppings to slide off. Not sure what happened to this pizza because on our previous visit the pizza was perfect. It takes a lot to mess up a pizza for me, but unfortunately this one was inedible. Still, we will be back because everything else was top notch.

Third visit to Luminosa since they opened. Second in 7 days! Everything was excellent: ambiance, service, cocktails, food. We’re locals and will be back frequently.

Service was excellent waitress was super attentive, but the food I feel like was overpriced for the amount of food you got. Everything was alcart. I would like to have had a steak but who can afford $70 for a piece of meat that did not include any extras ridiculous.

This place is incredible, the service is far superior to nearly every restaurant in the Asheville area. Additionally, they source all of their ingredients from within 50 miles of the restaurant, which I thought was really neat. The flavors were bold, but not overpowering and allowed the quality of ingredients to shine through. The restaurant is comfortable and the ambience is upscale but approachable. Highly recommend.

Our new favorite restaurant in Asheville!the gnocchi was the best we have ever had! Our server, Ace, was phenomenal! Friendly, interesting and knowledgeable! The inside was warm and inviting. It was a wonder experience!
