For people who enjoy a lovely evening out with an appreciation for subtle complexity and taste, Luminosa is the place to go. The setting is elegant, and the service was simply outstanding. Bob took care of our table and was knowledgeable and absolutely delightful and professional

Our dinner at Luminosa (celebrating a birthday) was spectacular! We shared the bucatini, which was outstanding, comparable to pasta we had in Italy, followed by perfectly grilled chicken and excellent trout. Thyme panna cotta and a chocolate-ified tiramisu were two of the best desserts I’ve had in Asheville. The service (by Savannah) couldn’t have been better and the restaurant is beautiful, as is the whole newly-restored Flatiron hotel building. If you’re coming to downtown Asheville, don’t miss this gem!

Amazing layout on multiple levels, keeps noise to a minimum. Wonderful varying menu and knowledgeable staff to explain fine details. Food was amazing. All locally sourced. Nice size portions. You won’t go away hungry. Very nice cocktails. Can’t go wrong here. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful experience…. The food was exquisitely prepared, cocktails addictive and service sublime (our waiter (Jerrod?) was knowledgeable and showed us just the right amount of attention at just the right times). 10 out of 10!

Luminoso was an incredible dining experience and the Chefs really knew what they were doing. I was a big fan of the stuff pastas and the charcuterie program and everything from our salad course to dessert was incredible including the service. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for an incredible dinner.

Best service we’ve had ever. The tables had nice separation and most were in quiet nooks. The food was excellent, a twist on familiar dishes. The pizza crust was perfectly light and crispy, enjoyed the lemon and margherita pizzas. Recommend the gnocchi too, albeit pretty rich. The chocolate semifreddo was very good, although more of a rich dense mousse than melty.
