Lumen Detroit at Beacon Park offers a unique dining experience in the heart of the city, blending modern architecture with a vibrant park setting. The restaurant features floor-to-ceiling retractable windows and one of Detroit's largest outdoor patios, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor ambiance. Guests can enjoy seasonally inspired Modern American cuisine, craft cocktails, and an extensive bar selection, whether on the rooftop or by the cozy outdoor firepits. With its lively atmosphere and picturesque views of Beacon Park, Lumen is the perfect spot for any occasion.

We offer valet parking for $15 Wednesday-Sunday. There is also metered street parking available on a limited basis. Please note that reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which they are subject to cancelation. We allot 2 hours per table for dining, after which we may ask for your table. Due to the possibility of inclement weather our patio tables are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Our heated, full-service Private Chalets are currently available for reservations and can accommodate groups of up to 10. Please note that all Private Chalet reservations are subject to a $35 per person food and beverage minimum (tax & gratuity not included) which is due at the time of booking. This $35 per person charge will be deducted from the bill the night of your reservation. All Private Chalet reservations are allotted 2 hours for dining, after which we may ask for the table. Because of limited availability and high demand, your 2-hour time begins at the time of your reservation. A 20% gratuity may be added to ALL Chalet reservations. Chalet Reservations are refundable up to 48 hours in advance, after which all sales are final.

A very modern space with floor to ceiling windows. Excellent, attentive service. Food is creative and delicious, and cocktails were wonderful. You can go for a more casual meal (Everything Bagel Wings and Burgers) or fine dining (Chilean sea bass and Steak Frites). Highly recommend.

Lumen Detroit is always an excellent dining experience. From the crafted cocktails to delicious gourmet prepared dishes, it’s always a 10 out of 10! The waitstaff as well as the valet attendant-everyone is friendly, professional, and welcoming! Love Lumen!!

Everything was great. We went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We both got steaks and mine was overcooked. They took it back and the chef brought me out a new one quickly. Everything was delicious. Our server's name was Claire and she was very personable and kind. She brought out a little birthday dessert plate at the end. We really enjoyed it!

Food was pretty bad for the prices. $25+ bolognese that was way over cooked, limp noodles. The bread plate is basically just Kroger food cut up for a toddler. Wings were solid.

Loved our experience there last night! Everything was amazing from the valet service to the waiter service and to our food! Will come back!

This restaurant is floor to ceiling windows, with great light, and it lights up well at night. The food was better than expected. For appetizers we had pork belly and fries, both delicious. The salmon was our favorite entre. The Chicken dishes were really good and homey. If we had to nitpick for feedback purposes - the fries came in a cool shaped container, but it was made of cardboard (it didn't feel right having such a cheap material on a nice table) and it has a high backside making eating the fries awkward at our 4 top table. The Chilean Sea Bass was a thick piece of whitefish but its texture and non-flakiness were suspect. Our cocktails were pretty but tasted a bit flat. We also had a non-alcoholic cocktail however (I think called "pineapple express" which was quite good.

Wonderful experience. Brussels sprout appetizer was awesome. Salmon entree was delicious - definitely would go back for that specifically. Great meal and ambiance!

We had seating outside in the chalet and service was amazing! It took time for our server to warm up to us but he was great overall
