Lulu Bar is an escape from the ordinary. Its welcoming vibe is reminiscent of hidden gems from your last vacation, only better because it’s right here in your own backyard. With a healthy, Pacific-inspired menu, Lulu’s wood-fired food is light and fresh — but heavy on flavour.
Chef Joseph Sokoloff’s fare is a tribute to the Pacific Ocean and many of the regions that touch it, with influences from Asia to Hawaii, California to British Columbia. Lulu’s fun, light, and refreshing drink menu is equally well-travelled. Its wine, beer, and creative cocktail offerings will make you feel like you’re far from home — and we like that.

Loud, painfully trendy, good food. Service was okay, almost too diligent - they kept taking our plates before we were done!

The food was delicious, we went during late night happy hour. My only, is the service, I think our server forgot about us or the transfer to another waiter/waitress didn’t happen as smoothly as they hoped for as we are waiting for over 15 minutes to get my first drink.

For the past few Sundays some girls from work meet for drinks and dinner and my pick this week was Lulu Bar. We ordered several dishes to share and almost all were GF (I’m celiac). There wasn’t one thing that we didn’t rave about, I was so full and happy by the end. Both the server and manager led us through the menu and made sure to modify anything they possibly could so I could partake.

As always, excellent service and fantastic food. Tuna poke is delicious - the sesame crackers really make it a highlight. Loved the cod too. Shared both along with the squid and found it to be the perfect combination of flavours. Had a great experience and will look forward to next time.

We picked many of the coconut dishes and they were delicious! Our favourites were the calamari, chicken satay, and the coconut curry linguine. The portions looked small but they were very filling and so much flavour! Highly recommend!
