Main dishes were indifferent, salad poor and expensive (19£), bread not fresh, bruschetta very good. Service inexperienced.

Came for Christmas dinner with my kids. We loved it. The servers were amazing and the food was good. Honestly for my first time in London I was pleased!

Only the manager was friendly, but the two waiters who attended to our table were very cold and not at all smiling. The dishes were bland, and the pasta sauce was clearly industrial. The pizza was dry and tasteless. All this for an exorbitant price with service at 25%! While the service is abysmal. A tourist trap to be avoided.

Restaurant charmant, service impeccable avec des serveuses souriantes, pates et pizza excellentes, par contre, frais de service très onéreux en ce jour férié (25 décembre) à 25 %, soit plus de 21 livres pour une note de 85 livres. A recommander largement

We had a very enjoyable meal. We were a group of 9, that were due to the theatre for a pantomime, so were in high spirits, even for 5:30 in the afternoon!!! Some of the group did arrive a little late, but the staff were very attentive. We were located close to the kitchen and bar, so the traffic of staff was busy. Nonetheless, they took good care of us. Everyone enjoyed their food, although my chicken main course was a little bland for my liking. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this restaurant for a group booking.

great location right next to to theatres food is great and piping hot as with all places prices continue to rise but overall good value

I can confirm the other views, basically the food is bland, the service is neglectful and the value and ambience is not great. We were seeing show at the Adelphi Theatre, which is right next door. I am sure that is why it gets business. I would say it is 95% one off customers. I can't imagine why you would go back to this place. My advice, go up one block towards Covent Garden and you will find lots of restaurants. Being beside the Adelphi is not a good enough reason to go to this restaurant.

I recently had a frustrating experience at L’ulivo. Despite booking a table in advance, I arrived to find the restaurant closed. This was incredibly disappointing, especially since I had planned my evening around this reservation. To make matters worse, I was unable to cancel the booking through their system, which added to my frustration. With limited time to find another dining option, I struggled to secure a table elsewhere, leaving me without a place to eat. Overall, my experience was quite negative due to poor communication and accessibility. I would recommend that the restaurant improve their reservation management and ensure they notify customers promptly in case of unexpected closures. Until then, I can’t recommend dining here.

This was our second visit. Food, wine and surroundings lived up to our expectations and the price tag. Astonishingly the menus and wine lists were crumpled and illegible in parts; it concerns us that if this simple detail is overlooked what else is being neglected? We won't hurry back.
