As the name implies, Luke Wholey's Alaskan Grille is a predominately seafood restaurant that has several fish based dishes on the menu. The restaurant has a separate section for children along with a bar menu that offers seasonal cocktails, a wine list and a special Draft list for beer. All of the beverages in the menu go well with the seafood on offer, but each can be ordered by the glass as well. Luke Wholey's Alaskan Grille also boasts a separate sushi menu which is divided into a full 3 course meal. Traditional favorites include shrimp, eel, salmon, scallops, flying fish roe along with a variety of seafood rolls that range from shrimp and salmon to veggie and crab. The signature rolls on the menu include the Spider Roll which is filled with soft shell crab, fresh vegetables and sauces.

Amazing as always. Had my east coaster boss in town with me and anytime a true East coast person approves of seafood away from the east coast, you know it’s good!

Ashley was a great server! We celebrated a birthday lunch, and she made everything go smoothly including serving the birthday cake we brought. Snow crab legs were amazing for the birthday girl! Ordered sushi, lobster rolls, provolone wedges, chicken Caesar salad, fish sandwich, and kids pasta. Everything was great. Portions were generous especially the kids pasta. First time there, and we plan on returning for certain!

This is our favorite restaurant in the city! The ambiance is terrific and the food is always great! My family and I just love Luke Wholey's and we can't wait to come back!

We enjoy coming to Luke wholey’s every now and then. It was good and we enjoyed it but it seemed to fall off just a bit. Used to be an automatic 5 star experience

Made a reservation based on previous experience. Staff was attentive, efficient and friendly. Our meals were excellent. Would definitely eat here again!

Was fine..I like to eat out this is a place we been wanting to go to for years ..it was ok .. would I recommend? I'd tell them the food was ok ..not memorable but also not bad service was great so that was a very big plus for us

I really enjoy Luke Wholey’s place. I think it’s a Pittsburgh treasure that is a natural extension of Wholey’s Market. The crabcakes were very fresh and delicious. They were not served with a heavy sauce and indeed did not need anything to distract from the flavor. My wife had the Ahi Tuna, which was a sizable piece of fish that was finished perfectly. We definitely will be back.
