    The food was amazing!! Loved the Fresh Oysters, Louisiana Shrimp and Jalapeño Grits, and Rum and Praline Bread Pudding! Waiter was great! Seating tights and tables small and a bit noisy…but food amazing!!

    Don’t know where to start. We went here with high expectations because of the great reviews. Sadly the hostess wasn’t friendly. She didn’t even greet us. We were seated at our reservation time. We noticed the manager had to ask one of the waiter to bring us water. She said our waiter took a restroom break s she’ll be taking our orders. We immediately put in order for two dozens raw and some fried oysters. It was quick, came out to the table in under 5 minutes. The server literally slap it down at the corner of the table and walked away. We literally waited over 15 minutes and had to track down a waiter to take our drink orders. Another 10 minutes go by and still no drink and we had finished our oysters. Oysters were fresh and good. I was dying to try the Bread pudding but didn’t want to have to wait for another 30 minutes so we asked for the check and left.

    First time at Luke before a proposal! New brunch spot for us. Wait staff, management, and food were all above par. Murder point oysters were great and you could tell they cleaned the shells which you don’t see often. Pork belly app melted with each bite in the best way. Shrimp and grits/green tomato Benedict were unreal. Big thank you to all the Luke staff for being an unforgettable part of our very special day.

    Excellent service. Food came out in a shorter time than we expected and was fantastic. Excellent wine and drink list. My wife and I went thete for a Valentine lunch and will definitely go back.

    What a pleasant surprise! This place is across the street from my hotel. Popped in for a quick lunch and had legit gumbo and a fried oyster salad with bacon croutons, cherry tomatoes, and avocado, both outstanding. French press coffee to finish. I will definitely come back for dinner.

    Excellent food and service. We arrived 30 min early for our reservation and hostess was a bit rude, telling us we’d have to wait until our scheduled reservation time to be seated, despite empty tables. Second hostess did seat us early and was very pleasant. Overall good experience!

    We always go here before a show at Saenger. Happy hour is great. Seafood is plentiful and fresh always. Try the roasted beet salad with toasted pumpkin seeds and endive. To die for. Love the place.
