We are Lucky Tortoise Temple Bar. Serving you modern Dim Sum food in the Heart of Dublin City Since 2021, we have been reinventing our menu and brand to bring you a new Asian food experience. Our well-known for catering for Vegans & Veggie so we've got something for everyone. We serve our food 'Family style' so there's always a mix of dishes for you to try on the table.     Dumpling portions were small and a bit chewy. Service was slow and patchy. Toilet seat was broken. I probably wouldn’t return here.

    Have gotten the set menu each time I’ve been here and it’s always a nice selection and good value. Friendly staff and good music too

    My friends and I had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were lovely—friendly, attentive, and very helpful. I appreciated the variety of options available for different dietary needs, including vegetarian and vegan choices, which is always a plus. From a meat-eater’s perspective, the dumplings were the highlight—I’d rate them an 8.5 to 9/10. However, the other dishes were less impressive. The buns were unfortunately quite soggy, and the prawns were average at best. The ambience was another strong point: calm, relaxed, and not overly loud, which made for an enjoyable dining atmosphere.

    The food and service are very good. We enjoyed everything we got. It is expensive for what it is and you would get the same quality food for less elsewhere. It is in temple bar and with all the tourists I’m not surprised of the prices.

    So happy Lucky Tortoise was open on Christmas. We enjoyed everything about our dinner. So tasty & plentiful. I will visit again in a heartbeat & would recommend to others! Fa la la la la!

    The place didn’t have a table for us, we were seated in front of the window in a balcony, the service was good, but needs to improve structure of tables

    The vibe of the restaurant was great, we sat at one of the higher tables which we all loved - although the music was a bit loud and we were a group of 6 and felt like we couldn't hear those at the other end and sometimes had to almost yell. Food was tasty and well priced, however the service was only okay. We had to ask for more water multiple times, and were only given one carafe for 6 people to share each time we asked. Hard to get the attention of staff, as they only came over to take our order, deliver food and take plates. They didn't ask us how the food was (even when they were delivering more dishes as things came out in stages), we did want to order desert but waited probably 15-20 minutes before we got someones attention. Food was quite good, would go back again hoping the service would be a bit better!
