Solid place off the beaten track. The place is pretty big and no soft surfaces, so the noise level is pretty high.

Service is always good. Food is very good; I ordered the “special” which was lamb lollipops. They were tasty, but too fatty and tough. I’ll stick to regular menu items which I know are great! My bad.

The waitresses are very nice and attentive. My husband’s swordfish wasn’t completely cooked and they took it back and cooked it some more and comp his entree price.!

Fried chicken was delicious Smashburger delicious fries were a bit cold but still delicious martinis excellent.

I was at Lucky Hare with a friend for lunch. It was a very nice experience. Food was excellent, service was very attentive but not intrusive. Our visit for lunch took 2 hours as there was a lot for us to discuss. Not once did we feel rushed. I frequent this restaurant for both lunch and dinner and never have been disappointed.

Neighborhood restaurant gem! Seasonal menu, great apps, salad, pasta and main entrees. Super impressed with cocktail and wine options. Mocktails were great too (my teen was very happy). So happy to have this restaurant right outside of Big Canoe!

I have been to The Lucky Hare three times before, but this was the best! I enjoyed my Caesar salad- the nest I've had since the FDA stopped restaurants from using fresh eggs at the table. My main course was a shrimp and andouille sausage gumbo. Beautiful, peeled shrimp, and great sausage, plus a great broth and perfectly cooked rice. I thought I was back in New Orleans, except for one thing- none of the gumbo I used to get in New Orleans was ever this fresh and clean looking. Babk in the day, when I was a pilot for Delta Air Lines, I used to dine frequently in the Moisant Employees Cafeteria, aka "Brennan's on the Ramp", Many thought they had the best gumbo n town, and I was inclined to agree with them. One morning I asked the server, "What's in this stuff? right after she plopped a big scoop of rice in my bowl. Without batting an eyelash, she replied, "Honey you don't want to know:" I never asked again, and last night had a bowl of gumbo almost as good as "Brennan's on the Ramp. except for the fact that it was a lot prettier. My one complaint was the pace of service, which might be called "relaxed". The server's pleasant personality made up for that, that, and we not in a hurry anyway. Bill Gibson Big Canoe, GA

Visited for a girl's birthday lunch. We had drinks first, then our entrees. Food was prompt and delicious. The waitstaff was very helpful and attentive. We were there for quite some time and were never rushed.
