Located at the ME London on The Strand in the heart of London’s West End ( Aldwych Side ) yards away from Somerset House, Luciano by Gino D’Acampo will provide guests with luxury all day, every day dining, serving lunch, dinner & drinks, until late.

The menu, designed by Gino and his team of talented development chefs, alongside acclaimed Executive Head Chef Calogero Carlino, will be fitting for it’s location. Incorporating Italian classic dishes with a focus on quality and ingredient provenance. An authentic Italian service will complement the menu, adding to the premium and yet informal dining experience, with a large, open-theatre style kitchen taking centre stage.

Nice meal but service a little off and not what you’d expect at these prices. Dumb waiter lefty beside table, had to chase down drinks. Meal was decent but felt again for price and compared to other venues a little expensive.

My main meal was extremely disappointing as hardly any salmon in the dish, was certainly worth what the fish cost.

So so love Gino restaurants and was so looking forward to but experience not the best. Had to wait for table after booking 6pm and loads free and then forgot about us at bar had to check bar agsin and was our anniversary as mentioned on booking and was out on table of 4 like you want share table with people don’t know and on anniversary so asked to be moved and was and better and food lovely just bad first time experience on special occasion was much better expeirende at rue Birmingham restaurant inpecable serviced. Shame

Warmly greeted by all front of house staff and as we were a little early we had a drink at the bar before being promptly seated at our table. Our server was lovely and recommended food and wine choices. Both starters were delicious, my companion's main was declared as gorgeous but my risotto lacked depth and was flavourless, so after a few forkfuls I gave up. These things happen occasionally but it's how the restaurant manages the situation which matters. Our server offered a replacement/alternative which I declined and having removed my dish came back shortly to apologise, stating that I wouldn't be charged. No fuss, sorted with good outcome, well done and thank you.

Good place overall.. Cocktails pricey. Food menu was ok but a bit lacking in options.

I am sorry to say that the evening didn’t meet our expectations. The caprese salad was tasting good, but lacked Mozzarella. Asking the waiter he told us that Gino wants it that way because of the tastes mix better. Not wrong, but one small Mozzarella ball torn into small pieces doesn’t do the job. The pasta carbonara tasted completely saltless, which is startling as the Pecorino/Parmesan and the Guanciale is normally salty enough itself. The Guanciale looked more like pancetta and was sparsely used. The rocked Salad on the other hand had more than enough salt. The pasta bolognese and the crab salad were ok. The service was good at least our waiter tried. Problems were Delays in the kitchen and bar orders. At least the melon margarita was good. Cheers

The staff upon arrival and right until the end make you feel most welcome. Our waiter was Carlos whom was so nice and was happy to recommend dishes for us. For starters my plus one and I enjoyed a bread basket with pesto. For our mains we had lasagne and salmon Both beautiful and flavorsome to eat. Although we were both full we could not resist choosing a chocolate and hazelnut ferrero rocher cheesecake to finish it was so divine. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all .
