The menu, designed by Gino and his team of talented development chefs, alongside acclaimed Executive Head Chef Calogero Carlino, will be fitting for it’s location. Incorporating Italian classic dishes with a focus on quality and ingredient provenance. Some of the food was good but no good enough to warrant coming back. We were all underwhelmed which was disappointing as it was all expensive.

Food passable, starter too much, main not enough. Linguine alla vongolese, dessert inadequate - micro portion. I doubt I’ll return. Staff pleasant, although it seemed there were too many walking around doing nothing. Probably trading too much on Gino’s name

Very noisy not somewhere to go for an intimate date. Food not amazing. Service was excellent. Dessert menus all ripped. Not the experience was expecting not really value for money. Wouldn’t go again.

Dined here 3 times now. Food excellent each time. Best seating is around the edge of the room. Seats in the middle and near the kitchen are a bit too noisy.

Absolutely loved everything from start to finish we had a lovely waiter called Andrea who went above and beyond. The girls at the front of house where very pleasant and polite. Food was amazing I would definitely recommend

I was really disappointed with the service during my visit. Despite booking a table well in advance for a special occasion (a birthday), our table wasn’t ready when we arrived, even though I had called ahead to inform the restaurant that we’d be 10 minutes late. It felt like they hastily set up a table and shoved it into a corner. The service throughout the evening was minimal. We waited an unreasonably long time for our drinks—our food arrived around the same time as a cocktail, meaning we had already started eating before the drinks even got to us. There was also hardly any table service; we had to get up and sort out our own drinks, which was really frustrating, especially given the high prices. Speaking of the food, while it was decent, it wasn’t worth the money. We paid £240 for three people, which included just one course and one drink each. For that price, I expected much better service and quality. The best part of the evening was the décor and the location, which is convenient if you’re planning to see shows like Mamma Mia or Tina Turner. However, I wouldn’t return, as the overall experience fell far short of expectations.

Attended for birthday celebrations before a trip to the theatre (table 4:45 / theatre 7pm). From arrival it was clear that the staff had no control over the flow of people in the restaurant. Waiting staff running around like headless chickens and there was not enough staff covering the volume of orders at the bar. Waiter don’t know the menu, multiple things wrong when the food arrived. Member of the party has severe mushroom allergy, advised in advance and on arrival and on ordering. When food arrived there was no separation of dishes as two meals the same but no identifier to confirm that the allergy meal had been cooked separately from others and staff advised ‘don’t worry all our meals are safe’ however there are meals on the menu with mushroom within?!. Food came out on cold plates, veal looked more like roadkill and veg all stone cold. To top it off after returning the mains and asking for the bill, a team of 4 staff arrived at the table with a ‘happy birthday’ dessert, clearly seeing that the birthday girl wasn't even at the table. The restaurant is ideally located in the theatre district but quickly needs to learn how to accompany the flurry of customers at peak times… could be a fantastic place to eat if staff worked together and kitchen had the right number of staff to support demand.
