Located in a historical home in the resort town of Dana Point, California, Luciana's Ristorante has been serving the Orange County community for over 40 years. The decor is reminiscent of a cozy European-style inn, establishing it as one of Orange County's most romantic restaurants. Awarded the Southern California Restaurant Writers gold medal since 1996, three stars from the California Restaurant Writers, Zagat's Survey "America’s 1,000 Top Italian Restaurants 2008" and an Award of Excellence for its wine list, Luciana's has been setting the standard for classic as well as innovative Italian cuisine.     Preset menu for Valentines. The appetizer looked as if it was prepared the day before with wilting vegetables. Entres were good but meat not cooked to desired temperature. The overall price was way to high. It was our first time going there and likely our last.

    Staff is great. The Manager is the worst manager I have ever come across. The restaurant doesn’t deserve the bad image he gives it. I will not go back simply because of him.

    Didn’t care for the fixed menu. Main course was good, but didn’t care for the appetizer, salad, or dessert. Surprised the meal didn’t come with a glass of wine. To my taste, it wasn’t a $300 value.

    Valentine’s Day dinner was good. Little pricey for the value. $ 80 would been more sufficient. Marche Moderne in Newport Beach dinner was under $ 200 a night before. I checked the regular menu here. It was definitely more reasonable. Great restaurant to re-visit soon. Excellent service was grateful!!

    Excellent food, wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive and friendly. Inside dining decor I feels like your eating in a small restaurant in an Italian villa.

    Absolutely delicious! We had a very discerning out of state guest with us and brought her here - everyone loved it. There are a number of good Italian restaurants in the DP/SC area, but Luciani's is the one that most reminds me of actually being in Italy! Every dish is delicious and the service is top notch
