Lucia York is an all-day restaurant and cocktail bar serving a modern Italian menu feat. homemade pasta, gelato, pizza, pesce & carne dishes seven days a week.

Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

We have been coming to Lucia's for a number of years & always had a great time. However on this occasion we were seated in the area located across the courtyard not the original building. Very disappointing lacked atmosphere, decor pretty but not as nice, quite a distance to the toilets & sat directly in line with the air conditioning unit so very cold, however do appreciate could be a godsend during the warm months. Wasn't particularly blown away with the food. Left slightly disappointed, as we had brought friends who had never been before & we had raved about how beautiful it was. Sadly not on this occasion. 😞

Whilst we view each section of our restaurant as equally great places to dine in, we understand guests may have different preferences. I'm saddened to hear you weren't blown away by the food but I do hope that as returning guests, you are able to view this as an isolated experience. Lovely food & quick service, only downside we felt rushed to leave at the end of our meal but overall good.

Loved our experience. We went for bottomless brunch and my boyfriend is dairy free. I emailed before to ensure we would miss out on the experience which was helpful but at the restaurant they were great at making sure everything was dairy free for him and letting us order from different menus due to this. Service was great, amount of food was good and drink selection was delicious! Thanks :)

Not been to Lucia's for years and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is much extensive than it used to be. Good service. Only prob was drinks menu, had run out of Italian champagne and alternative was served v warm.
