Located in the heart of York minutes away from York Minster and The Shambles, this stylish restaurant boasts elegant interiors and an attractive heated outdoor courtyard.

Lucia's patisserie is open from 9am every day. The main restaurant opens from 12pm.

Join us at Lucia on the first Sunday of every month with our new Italian cookery masterclass 11:30am - 4pm Hosted by our expert chefs you will enjoy the following Welcome Mimosas, Pastries and Coffee Chef led demonstrations and Fresh Pasta making All ingredients to make your own fresh pasta Two Course lunch Take home your homemade products with a recipe card and cooking instructions Tickets £100 Per Person and a maximum of 10 tickets are available per masterclass. The duration of this experience is 3.5 hours including the Masterclass and lunch.

Busy for 6pm Tuesday night but service was good, food was nice if not outstanding. We use Lucia’s a lot and it’s constantly good.

Very lovely atmosphere and one to savour however the food was really nice but a little bit expensive for the flavour. Would definitely go back though.

Sunday lunch was excellent, slower service than we would have liked, but I think that it’s the case at many establishments. The place was very popular and I didn’t see anyone complaining about anything. We will definitely go back

We came to Lucia for our anniversary 2 years ago and had the best time, great drinks, lovely, attentive staff and great food. We came again this year thinking we would get the same experience and it was not even close to our first visit and in the worst way possible. We arrived for our booking at 9pm. We were seated by the bar in the pink and marble room - this seating arrangement felt like an afterthought - it was drafty, we could see behind the bar which was a bit messy and I felt uncomfortable with where we had been placed. We ordered 2 drinks to begin with which were lovely, and we had anticipated to have a few more but we were not approached to ask if we would have liked to order more drinks, we left out empty glasses at the side of the table and they were walked past and ignored for our whole meal. I would have taken the empties away once I had seen them and asked if the diners wanted more drinks but this did not happen. We then got our starters which we really enjoyed - however, when the mains arrived there were some issues with the Parmesan cheese - it tased off, like really off which for us spoiled the meal - we were not checked on and staff waiting pretty much didn’t acknowledge us until we were finished dining - I’d say by this point we had just mentally checked out. We didn’t enjoy the evening the way we had our first visit and that was really disappointing. The one credit to the evening was one of your waitresses who was incredibly sweet and kind (we think her name is Mia?) but we only had the pleasure of meeting her once right at the end of our meal - apart from that, it was just not a great experience.

What a fabulous restaurant. Delicious food and wine. Loved the location and the vibe of the restaurant. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Food always superb, good value for money for quality of food. Superb drink and food choice. Really good service. My favourite place, highly recommended
