Luchini is an Italian American restaurant reminiscent of classic red sauce joints in the key of Tao Group, known for their scene-making restaurant and nightlife venues worldwide.

Luchini’s combo of restaurant, slice shop, and cocktail haunt experience brims with nostalgic charm and suave energy.

Chef Ralph Scamardella’s menu reads like a list of nominees for the Red Sauce Hall of Fame featuring Alla Vodka, Manicotti, Parmigiana three different ways and Spumoni in the dining room, and New York-style pizza-by-the-slice from the adjacent shop counter.

Inspiration is drawn directly from the tri-state’s familiar no-frills pizza parlors with counter service up front, and an expanded menu of Italian-American comfort food in the back dining room. Luchini also houses a cinematically inspired cocktail lounge accessible through a disguised door in the slice shop that feels like slipping into a Coupe DeVille, stay a while!

Fantastic date night place. We got the $95 Spicy Seafood Diablo and it was perfect for 2 people. The extra end is the speakeasy where the ambiance is top notch. Cocktails are $$$ but they are also top notch drinks.

Service was terrible. Had a 5:30pm reservation and was seated at that time. Did not see a server until 5:55pm after we approached a manager asking who our server was. 2nd time we have had bad service at Luchini.

We’ve visited this place before and had an amazing experience! This time, I brought my family along since they were visiting, but unfortunately, they weren't thrilled with our choice. The service was not the best, we had to ask multiple times for water, plates, and forks. We tried several dishes, and while they were okay compared to the last time, the portion sizes are much smaller, and the prices have either stayed the same or increased since our last visit. The only standout item worth returning for is the chocolate cake.

Honestly very overhyped. The food just wasn’t as great as expected :/ the pictures looked amazing but not the taste. We got the Caesar with I swear to you 2 croutons and the dressing was very light in flavor. I want the lemon, the salty parm, the tangy anchovy and I just did not find that . Also the lettuce was wilted and full of cores. The short rib pinwheels lacked lots of flavor as well as the pizza. We came to celebrate a birthday and we were just pushed off in a corner hidden and just didn’t feel seen. Just not a good experience overall .Save yourself from getting the chocolate cake I say it’s not worth it. I would skip and maybe go to carbone or another great “ Italian” vibe restaurant. Or if you do decide to try please don’t order what we got and leave a review !

The appetizer of three lightly fried items including shrimp and calamari was great. Menu was limited. Beef short ribs were delicious. Jumbo shrimp dish was very dry. All in all, ok but not outstanding.

We made reservations even though told they were not needed. Those with reservations were taken first then the ones without. We were seated at a very small table while others without reservations received better seating. Everything is a la carte. Bread was not served. We ordered chicken parmigiana and pasta, both of which came separately. The chicken was tough and we told the server who had no comment. Wanted to try the glazed roasted potatoes and they were very good. The table was too small to accommodate all the plates and our server had not come by again. We had the gelato which turned out was vanilla empty in the middle with some pistachio nuts on the bottom. The chocolate cake was good. This was our last night there and we were not happy with the service or food, especially at the very high prices charged. Would not recommend.
