   This is a great place to go if you want a really nice dinner uptown charlotte before a show. The food is excellent and the service is the best. We love going here before a show at Belk theater

   Luce is one of my favorite Charlotte restaurants. Food, service, ambiance, and especially low level noise, allows people to actually converse with people at the table, without feeling the need to shout.

   We live in Ohio only get to Luce once a year, but it never fails to deliver a great experience. Service, wind and food is always great.

   Had a very nice meal at Luce. We had dinner before attending the Belk for a musical. The veal scallopini was tender and well cooked. Spouse had chicken marsala which was very good. The vegetable medley was made with FRESH vegetables and cooked just right. Loved the roasted potatoes.

   Not enough sauce on the pasta dishes we order we have been at Toscano numerous time Luce doesn’t match up to Toscano food Service was good

    Main complaints are in relation to the food…Obnoxiously fast service, the red sauce for the gnocchi tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup, dirty martini was anything but dirty, I ordered the the lobster and shrimp risotto, which was $45 (no complaints there) aside from the fact it was just an over cooked risotto with chopped shrimp and minimal lobster. The fact we were sat at 6pm and ate/closed tab/ and left by 630 screams nothing is cooked to order… as risotto should be. 2/5 extra rating for being seated on time.
