Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri and his partner Steven Hartenstein. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he and his partner have opened Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. Join us for our 3rd Tequila & Mezcal Dinner featuring live entertainment, amazing Mexican-style street food, and unique cocktails that pair perfectly with each course. You’ll have the opportunity to try tequilas and mezcals in ways you never imagined and might even go home with a new favorite. Participants must be 21 or older and present a valid ID. Tickets are $125 plus tax and gratuity and require a credit card to hold your reservation at the time of booking. This event fills up quickly every year, so don’t miss out!

Another great meal last night!! For appetizers we ordered Burrata/Prosciutto and Brodetto Di Pesce then we split an entree of Fettuccine Alfredo (served from a cheese wheel) Bravo!

We’ve been to Lucca quite a few times since the site changed from Tuscany. Initially, we were completely satisfied with the menu selections and service but the past 2 or 3 outings have been lackluster. We invited friends out last night and I was looking forward to the fettuccine that is finished table side in the cheese wheel. The cheese wheel we saw was down to the rind and had far too much pasta water so I passed on it; that has always been a signature dish so very disappointing! I asked our server if we could have Carbonara made even though it was not on the menu. Found out we could have Carbonara made and I assumed it would be made in the classic way with guanciale and pecorino romano. Not sure what happened but the Carbonara was dry and tasteless with only a few pieces of meat (that was not guanciale) and made for a disappointing dish for one of our guests and myself. On a positive note, my wife’s Burger and our guest’s Bolognese were outstanding! The Manager came by to apologize and comp’d our Carbonara dishes.

The food was excellent. The service was not. The ambiance almost made up for the wait staff…My advice; enjoy the cuisine but be prepared to be patient.

Food was great. But you have to ask for a Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Location was perfect, we stayed outdoor. I would try the Fettuccini next.

Second time we've gone to Lucca. Sat outside on the beautiful patio both times. We had a dinner with friends and a 7:30 reservation. We left at 10:50 and the staff couldn't have been nicer even though they could have been trying to boot us out of there earlier. We are definitely putting Lucca on our rotation and will be back again and again.
