Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri and his partner Steven Hartenstein. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he and his partner have opened Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. We revisited Lucca after many months and, as always, the food and service were excellent. We look forward to our next night out at Lucca.

This was our first time at Luca’s. The restaurant was beautiful, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the food was absolutely amazing. Our awesome server Francisco and the manager Judy were so nice. We ordered everything Francisco recommended and it was so good. Our appetizer was the grilled calamari. The entrees were Branzino Al Forno. I wish I could remember the other special he recommended. It was a full white fish that he filleted table side. The experience was one of a kind. We will be back!

Pre dinner stop at bar - very crowded and drinks were a bit overpriced. Live music was way too loud for the bar. Reservation for 7:30 but got seated closer to 8pm. Server was great - attentive, nice, but hard to hear since it was so loud in the restaurant. Food was DELICIOUS - shrimp and polenta appetizer was great as was the wedge salad. We all loved our entrees including the risotto with lobster, the sea bass, and linguine with seafood (although 3 mussels were still closed and should not have been served). The presentation of the fettuccine Alfredo was different and yet delicious. Our waiter did not bring our food - that was left to different staff who were very unpleasant and almost threw the food on the table in a hurried fashion. But the food was great - we all agreed to give it another try some day. Very loud, a bit pricey, but good food.

The food was fabulous! Luis was our server and he was fantastic - efficient, knowledgeable, funny and kind! The whole team behind him were quick on the spot and always with a smile. A great experience!

On our first visit we were pleasantly surprised by the open, airy feel of the room as well as the quality of the food and the excellent attention to detail in food presentation and service. Definitely on our list to repeat.

Ambience was great. Service as usual excellent! Had reservations but still had to wait 20 minutes before we were seated. Kitchen was running a bit behind. These two things were a bit unpleasant!

We went for an anniversary dinner and had a great time. Louis and Melvin. Our waiters did a fabulous job. Both guys are professionals and made us feel very comfortable and happy with Night out. The food was excellent. My wife got the fettuccine and I got the Dover soul. Both meals were presented at the table. The food was hot. The drinks were good. The dessert was awesome. We will be back.

Wanted a nice place to celebrate a 2 year wedding anniversary. The food was great. Wasn’t sure about giardiniera on the bruschetta but it was actually very good. My linguine was delicious; my husband’s gnocchi was also very good. The service was lacking and it wasn’t THAT busy. I had to ask 3 different people for flatware since I didn’t get any to start. Our server was completely disinterested in us for some reason. Barely checked in on us during the meal so her tip reflected that. Overall, we had a great meal but won’t go out of the way to return.

Fabulous experience and never disappoints! Food is fresh and amazingly well prepared, staff is friendly and courteous and our group of 6 had a wonderful time! ) Highly recommend.
