Luca West features high-end modern Italian served in a classy, Tuscan setting. Diners will find many of their favorite dishes that made Chef Luca’s Italian Cuisine such a grand success in downtown Cleveland. But new to Luca West are a number of unique menu choices that will become new favorites, for our new friends on the west side of Cleveland.

The wine program at Luca West meets the standards of the most adventurous wine fan, including our globally expansive list of wines by the glass.

We had never been to the restaurant before. The service was great and the food was outstanding. Portions were more than generous. We will definitely be back!!

We have visited this restaurant on a regular basis and have noticed a continual decline in food and service. Last night we had a party of 5 people, with 3 of the meals unsatisfactory. Two had the halibut special and the fish was so dry that only about half of it could be eaten. The beef short ribs came on a plate with shredded meat swimming in a soupy gravy. Waitress said that vegetable of the day was fingerling carrots and the plates came with brussells sprouts. We questioned the waitress and she said that she wasn't aware that the chef had changed the vegetable of the day. Neither party liked brussells sprouts and would have ordered another entree as the waitress said that they do not do substitutions. We asked to speak with the manger and was told that he was very busy and would not have time to come to our table. With over a $500 bill, all of us were very disappointed and may never return.

I had the veal special and OMG best meal I have had out in a long time. It was so much food and I had to stop myself from eating all of it.

My wife and I made reservations for our anniversary. The service was great very friendly and helpful! I ordered a veal shank which was amazing. My wife ordered a fillet Mignon which tasted good but she ordered it medium and it came out well done. The table we sat at rocked so one of the servers placed several shims under the table leg to fix this. It was so loud in there that we had to scream just to hear each other. So it was an ok experience, too loud for a romantic dinner but all in all not a bad place to eat.

Food at Luca West never disappoints! Calamari is exceptional but be sure to ask for extra bread! The sauce is delicious!

This is a nice restaurant and we’ve had varying degrees of success with dining here. Our most recent experience was mediocre and not due to the food, food is consistently good. Our experience was tainted by the dreadfully slow waitress who was trying to cover way too many tables. Table of four and we were in no hurry and at first we just ignored how long everything was taking. Then it became annoying when the server would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. The restaurant is extremely loud and my Apple Watch kept warning me that at this level of decibels that hearing loss can occur in less than thirty minutes. We normally dine outside on the patio, but the weather is changing. We will wait until next spring/summer and dine on the patio. Until then other places to go.

Our food was delicious but we felt very rushed by our waitress. Our coffee was ice cold and when told she said it was piping hot when she brought it and we would have to wait 7 minutes to get new coffee- really! Very loud restaurant.
