At Lower Mills Tavern, we strive to make this place feel like home to all – Whether that be during game day, date night, or a quick drink after work. We are a Dorchester-local tavern with a strong passion for community and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We offer live music 3 nights per week as well as $1 oysters, wood-fired pizzas, Salads, Seafood, Steaks and much more.

Our delicious seasonal menus are sure to have menu items specially catered towards any dietary need (ex: gluten-free, vegan, etc.). Voted Best Neighborhood Restaurant in Boston (Dorchester; Boston Magazine)

We are located in the heart of Lower Mills right down the street from our two sister restaurants Yellow Door Taqueria and Madre Osteria & Bar - perfect spots to grab a drink before or after your reservation!

                                                              The LMT burger is a model of consistency: not over engineered with ingredients I can't pronounce and still flavorful. Its any easy order. Better still is the team creating the vibe in the restaurant. The host was attentive enough to notice the A/C was blowing hard enough to make me shiver and the server curbed the heat before it got to be summer inside. Proactive, thoughtful, reading the room from where they were stationed. It all added to the welcoming vibe.
