Lovers Seafood and Market is the second concept from Tracy Rathbun and Lynae Fearing, the partnership that produced the local favorite Shinsei.

In an age where independent, neighborhood, specialty shops are virtually extinct, Lovers Seafood and Market is committed to the principles of personally providing our community exceptional quality, fair pricing, and excellent service. I took my daughter for her birthday and we had an amazing time! Staff took special care of us. I will most definitely be back!!

We had a lovely evening. It was a beautiful night and the patio was full so we sat inside. It was kind of loud because there were some large groups for homecoming. It wasn't unbearable, just not typical. My husband and I shared the Demesey bowl for an appetizer. It was sashimi, grapefruit, and all sorts of yumminess. He had the red snapper special with a pumpkin seed romenesco that was amazing! I had grouper in a butter sauce and it was so perfect. We typically bring half home and share a dessert. We both finished our plates with no room for dessert. We will go back for cobbler!

Consistently awesome! Tried the caviar this time, as the gf and I work our way through the menu; It was lots of fun!

The food was very good but our server, Joey, was not the very helpful. He never introduced himself to us and didn't tell us about any specials. Meanwhile, the waiters at the tables next to us both introduced themselves to their guests and made recommendations about the menu and talked about specials. When asked to describe the raw oyster selection, it was like pulling teeth trying to get him to talk about them. He finally just said, "I don't like them." Then he realized he had a list on a card in his pocket and he read them off. I don't know if he was new there or just not very experienced at being a server.

We love this place. It is a great place for sitting out on the patio and enjoying a nice lunch. The food never disappoints. My favorite is the healthy but tasty Salmon bowl filled with salmon, quinoa, butter lettuce, avocado and diced sweet potato. Our waiter, Catfish, made it all a fun time!

Tuesday is Half priced bottled wine night. This place is a good idea for dining out during the week. Service is always good here.

Lovers Seafood is alway an enjoyment to dine, from the service to the food everything was flawless. We are frequent diners at LS, we make sure we eat there at least twice a month.

Service was great. Many delicious choices. Food was well prepared. Party of 3 had great dinners, 2 soft drinks + 1 cocktail, so $200 tab was a bit steep.
