At Love Letter we are a semi-fine diner restaurant with a seasonal chaos menu, modern-Australian, French influence and a nostalgic lean towards the food that we grew up eating in Aussie, Jewish and Italian households.
Think old school French bistro classics with modern Australian flair, rotating snacks and specials.

Set in the heart of bridge road, we are a short walk to the MCG and Melbourne's entertainment precinct.
We have a thoughtful wine list, full cocktail menu, and frosty beers on tap.

Intimate enough for date night, big enough for a function.

These guys just get better and better. Tonight we had the scallop starter and scotch fillet steak for main - excellently cooked and seasoned. The Sticky date pudding to close was again first rate. The cocktails were generous and expertly made and the vanilla porter was perfect for a cold and rainy night. Food, staff and service are fantastic - the food and beverage knowledge of the whole menu by the floor/bar staff is exceptional.

Service is outstanding at this lovely little bar. The music playlist and decor were on the alternative side and consistent with what one might expect from an eclectic venue. Toilets were clean however more could be done in terms of signage, decor, and lighting here. Food portion and presentation were unfortunately a disappointment and varied greatly from what is often photographed for social media. The wine list is underwhelming and over priced for what is on offer. It's a cute venue but overall misses the mark.

Recently dined at Love Letter Melbourne, and the overall experience was amazing. The ambiance was charming and romantic. The food was delicious and delightful showcasing a blend of flavors that made for an enjoyable meal. Will be coming back to try other things on the menu!

Took a group for an important networking meeting with a CEO and Exec. Great speak easy atmosphere, sophisticated and supportive staff. The chefs selection was perfect in terms of size, quality and timing. Can't recommend more, will definitely be bringing more guests back for dinner. Wine pairings were right on par as well.

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Our night was well spent at Love Letter and I can’t wait to come back. Max our server was beautiful, so accomodating and prompt. You could really tell she loved her job and what she does! The food was amazing!!!! Fresh, felt like a home made comfort meal and sooooo delicious. The atmosphere and environment of the restaurant was cozy yet chic and had its own sense of uniqueness. We came in at around 9:15pm and the restaurant was still PACKED to the brim, that speaks volumes. Can not fault this place! Cannot wait to be back. Thank you Love Letter!

This is my third time at Love Letter and it won't be my last! The food was impeccable from entree to dessert. Couldn't fault anything. The best steak I've ever had! Perfect portion sizes. The staff are always lovely and welcoming. Will be back again and again!
