Fantastic experience. Great food. Party atmosphere but not over the top. Great service. Antonio was excellent representative of LouLou's. Took fantastic care of us. 5 star brunch experience!!!

I made reservations for a Saturday brunch meal for two of my friends who I had not seen for several years. I did know that there was a DJ that played during brunch at Loulou’s, but I was in no way prepared for the dance club level of volume that greeted me as soon as I walked through the front door. Then I was led up to our patio seating, where I was literally 10 feet from a professional DJ and an array a very large speakers. It was so loud that I could not hear the server when he was bent over right in front of me asking what I would like to drink. I Texted my friends who were parking at the time, and told them that we should be eating somewhere else. I ended up leaving without ordering anything. The tableware was actually vibrating because the music was so ungodly loud. I could feel the base pounding in my chest sitting at the table. And everybody in the place was screaming trying to be heard over the music. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. And it was just as loud downstairs because they were piping in this loud hip-hop music downstairs, as well. I’m not old, nor am I against having music during a brunch. But when I’m eating, I like to enjoy the company of my companions. I cannot imagine anybody wanting to have brunch there. And it was too bad, because otherwise the place is quite nice with very good food.

We went to Loulou Rooftop on Tuesday. The staff were wonderful and the food delicious. I had the lobster linguine which was divine. It was quiet and the ambiance was chilled which was perfect for us. It was my birthday and they made me feel very special. Thanks everyone

Delicious food. Beautiful, cool, and very energetic atmosphere. Portions are small, so order sides/appetizers. Ambience may be overstimulating for the young or the old.

Food was super salty. I wanted to love it but it was just so so salty. Ambience was lovely and festive. Service was excellent.

We had a fabulous time. Finding the restaurant was a bit challenging. Figuring out parking and then the whereabouts of the restaurant (which is within a mall) was tricky. It was beautiful but a bit cold by the window. The food was great. Service a little slow. Desserts were fabulous. What is worth noting is the desserts were not too sweet which allowed us all to enjoy them much more so. The appetizers, the main course were all transformative. The wine, firepit, lighting, superb! Price was what I expected. We had a dozen oysters and other assorted appetizers including salmon tacos, brussel sprouts and hummus. Next we had scallops, salmon and steak main courses, wine to go around, desserts for everyone including a to die for crepe brûlée, a lava cake and the best was the apple tart. There were several glasses of wine ordered. For a party of four it was about $100 per person with tip on top of that. Totally worth it for a memorable night out in Santa Monica on a rooftop as the sun set. Thank you LouLou, with Nicholas and Victoria who were lovely and very welcoming.

Very loud like a club on a weekend. I couldn’t even speak to the person next to me. It’s fine to have fun atmosphere, but this was an insane way to have people eat brunch.

I loved the vibe at Lou Lou’s. Rachel aka Barbie, our server was exceptional! She went beyond the call of duty. The manager ensured that everyone at each table was comfortable and having a good time The Dj and sax player engaged with the patrons and kept positive only vibes. Finally, the food and drinks were amazing!

This is such a fun place to eat! Everything we ordered from the escargots, butter plate, french onion soup, to the diavola pizza was awesome! It's rare to find restaurants where you like everything you try for the first time. Service was spot on and always checking to see if we needed anything. I am not sure if it was for someone's birthday or a Saturday night show but they had a live DJ and handed out sparklers to everyone, and handed out shots to all adults while we all sang along to 80s hits! Wow if it was my birthday, I want to have it here! It was so much fun and I can tell everyone around us was having a blast. No wonder this place has so many great reviews, they deserve it! I can't wait to come back and try other things on thier menu.
