WHO ARE WE?
We’re the second generation of two Greek families that came to Canada to open some of Vancouver’s longest running restaurants.

Now, we’re taking everything we’ve learned from them to offer a brand new dining experience.

WHAT ARE WE ABOUT?
Loula’s is the Greek nostalgia of our upbringing infused with modern dining trends that have intrigued us. The atmosphere and cuisine are an homage to our namesake, a woman dear to our hearts who always leaves you in good spirits with a full stomach. Expect that overwhelmingly authentic Greek experience when you step through our doors—along with a few other things you won’t expect. You’ll just have to trust us.

WHERE ARE WE?
We’re located in the heart of Commercial drive, a spot we feel quite at home in. If you know anything about The Drive, you know it’s warm, vivacious and a little kooky.

The food was delicious. The service was great. The restaurant is beautiful and great for pictures. The only disappointing part was we wanted to break plates and based our reservations on the days they do that but that evening they were out of plates so we couldn’t, but I’ll definitely go back again.

Felt very rushed, we ordered a few appies and mains they all came at the same time. Felt like they just wanted to get us out to seat the next group. Our server was very nice though.

The food was very good. The sparkling wine to start didn't have any sparkle at all. The main course wine didn't come and didn't come then we were told it was sold out so ordered different wine which arrived after we'd eaten. There are son many good Loula's reviews that I suspect this is a single server problem.

Fun experience yummy food. We had to wait for an our hour for our table even though we had a reservation

I don’t usually complain but my experience last night was very disappointing. I went with 3 friends and we ordered the chicken platter amoung other things. My partners chicken was raw and myself and another friend had pink chicken. When we told our server she got the manager who told us it was from the beat root. However, he did take the chicken back to the kitchen and gave us a fresh plate which was fine. There was no sorry or apology from him. The server then came to apologise with 4 shots and said they were free, which was appreciated. When we asked for the bill we paid and left but on the way home noticed they charged us for the 4 shots! Although they did discount the chicken on the bill I was really disappointed by the service and the food.

What a fantastic evening spent a Loula's! We came for happy hour and really enjoyed ourselves . The food was delicious fresh and great value perfect for sharing. Our server Paige made the night she was so attentive professional and loads of fun we all were really impressed with Loulas's and will be back.

Music too noisy and loud for a Sunday brunch. Hard to conduct conversation over th excessively loud music!! Kitchen was extremely slow and disorganized. Our last dish lamb skewer arrived 30 minutes after the entire had already finished their meal! Had to take the dish home. Dined previously at the restaurant and all was OK. Yesterday's brunch experience gives us concern about coming back again!
