A mystical and alluring place to enjoy forgotten classics and rediscover the lost charm of conversation, LOUIX LOUIS soars 31 floors above the glittering skyline atop The St. Regis Toronto. Inspired by Toronto’s heritage as one of the largest distillery districts in the world during the turn of the 19th century, the dramatic interior is designed to represent the inside of a glistening crystal whiskey glass, each sip revealing a new layer of discovery. At the heart of the restaurant is the glamorous two-story-high grand bar showcasing over 500 dark spirits – one of the largest collections in North America.

Our experience was amazing from the time we walked in to the time we left. They really do value the customer, I asked one gentleman where the washroom was and he escorted me all the way there. Our waitress, did not catch her name unfortunately, was outstanding! She introduced us to a new wine, and was very knowledgeable about the wine! They even offered my partner and I a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! Will definitely be returning!

Had new year brunch, a repeat of the Christmas Day brunch. The foods are great, the turkey is so good that I might eat it more often 🤣 (I used to consider turkey as punishment food). Overall a nice outing .

Service was incredibly slow (too many customer for just one server). Food was fine, but nothing extra ordinary. We decided to grab breakfast at a nearby place that was open that early (9:30am) and close to the CN tower. Thought maybe this hotel would have a nice view or option to view from a balcony. Not the case at all. Our table had weird place settings. Too many cups, and not enough silverware, too few cloth napkins. It was like it was a staging table or something. Waiter seemed inflexible to make any changes (which is odd for an establishment of this kind). Decor near bar was nice. Greeter at the entry was nice (offered to hang our coats), front desk of the hotel itself were fantastic, and doorman was on point. Everything else—meh. I’d look for a cheaper option nearby if you’re headed to that side of town. We do not have plans to return here. 2-3 stars overall.

Booked this special occasion dinner for what was advertised as Festive Dinner and there was absolutely no Christmas decorations at all in the restaurant or at the tables. It looked like any other night there. Food was delicious. Service was a bit slow for what we are used to at Louix Louis
