We love LP and we’re strong advertisers for them when we first started dining there a few years ago but I think this last time will be our final dinner there. The food and customer service/staff have been consistently inconsistent. The food is not what the level or taste as it once was, the lemon pepper catfish I had was too spicy for me to eat and enjoy, it was never like that in the past. Our server informed us that there were no cheese garlic biscuits that night, what? It is one of your staple items and they did not have it? Needless to say we were disappointed but we knew the Acme oysters were going to be on point and they were but we did not only come there for that, we wanted the other yummy treats as well . We also found out to our disappointment, the Ooey gooey dessert is not more, I feel like they have increased their prices as well. I am sad, we enjoyed going there because the food was amazing and unique but I think it is time for us to say goodbye, sorry and best wishes.

I came specifically to try the bignette and garlic wings. They were out. I had to try other items on the list. The other wings/fries/ and Alligator Cheese cake was decent.

Most dishes seemed to have a bit of heat. May be too much for those that are sensitive to heat.

Excellent food! My husband ordered the chargrilled oysters and I ordered the fried chicken and mac and cheese with cornbread. Both were amazing. We had been looking for the oysters ever since we had them as Acme’s in New Orleans. Our server Jhaylin was helpful, courteous and very responsive. Nice personality and easy to talk to. We will definitely return!

The food was not as hot and enjoyabe as I would have liked. The service was good. I have enjoyed this restaurant more in the past but I know I would give it another opportunity in the future.

We were immediately seated when we arrived for our reservation. Service was great from start to finish. We ordered the garlic biscuits for appetizer, so delicious. For entrees, we got the smoked Gouda Mac and the Rasta pasta both with ox tails. Everything was so good, including the cornbread that was served on the side. Would definitely recommend. Parking is challenging so arrive early if you have reservations to ensure you have time to find parking!

This was my first visit as we were in town from L.A. I had the Crawfish Parm wings and these are the best wing I have ever tasted. I love the amount of Parm and the small burst of crawfish. This dish is delicious. I can't wait to get back to San Diego. I wanted the Aligator Cheesecake but it was sold out. Next time I'll be dining ealier.

The Mac and cheese with oxtail was amazing! Great atmosphere and the staff was awesome! They were playing good hams with good vibes. Nothing bad to say about our experience seated at the bar.
