Louisiana Lagniappe in Orange Beach, AL is a traditional Gulf seafood restaurant that serves dishes with Creole flair. The seafood & fish has all been sourced locally. Kitchen uses only the finest, freshest ingredients in its dishes. There is a full bar as well. We offer inside seating ONLY. Our restaurant overlooks the San Roc Cay Marina & Cotton Bayou.

Start with an appetizer like Lobster Rangoons, Crab Claws - Fried or Sautéed, Mardi Gras shrimp or Blackened scallops... Entrees include a range of seafood options like Fried Seafood Platter, Grouper Pecan, Bayou Grouper, Shrimp & Grits, Char-grilled Yellowfin Tuna etc. as well as hand cut Filet and Ribeye steaks.

We have eaten at Louisiana Lagniappe many times over the years and always found the food to be excellent. Except for tonight. The food quality was well below the quality we experienced . Salad had way to much dressing and grouper was not well prepared. Hush puppies excellent as always as was the service.

This restaurant has been one of our favorites until this time. The noise level was so high that I couldn’t talk to my wife or hear our server. It was so loud that a lady at another table yelled “it’s too G—D loud in here. No one paid any attention. If didn’t help the situation that some people in a large party had to stand up and yell at each other. I am sure that the food would have been better if the noise level was lower. As I said, in the past this was been a favorite especially for a date night.

Having a reservation means little to hostess employees and process for notifying patrons their table is ready is very lackluster at best. While waiting for our table there was consistent confusion in getting next customers whose table was ready seated. Should use either text to phones or pagers to notify when table is ready. Food was excellent and service was good.

Dear Van, TY for your visit. My apologies for the subpar experience with our hostess staff. I can assure you; reservations mean a world to all of us. Yesterday, lots of guests arrived earlier & lots of tables stayed longer than anticipated which created a bit of a chaotic situation at times with seating. My sincere apology for that. We try our absolute best (and succeed about 95% of the time) to seat all our guests on time. We have been notifying guests via texts message since 2019 when we started using the Open Table app for reservations. We text them 3x as well as sometimes call the guest's name (if not responding). Not everyone is paying attention to us while drinking at the bar and/or conversing. I'm glad food & service was to your satisfaction. Best Regards, Gabriela Martin, GM

Food was delicious. We all had the fish. They have a $59 special of two dinners with salad and potato and bottle of wine. You can upgrade entree and wine

Service and food were very good! Very loud main dining area! Hard to carry on a conversation.

Over 20 years we have dined at Louisiana Lagniappe at least 6-10 times each year. It has a great product produced with predictably great results. Last night was an exception. We were a bit early for the reservation time - they were a bit late seating us. The waitress completely misunderstood my wife’s order and brought stuffed oysters rather than stuffed shrimp. Then she was really busy and we could not get her attention for several minutes. She apologized and offered to get the correct dish - but it was too late as everyone else had finished their entree’s by then. The desert offerings did not have chocolate, except mixed with peanut butter. We will return to Lagniappe with hopes that the next experience will be better. The drinks and bartender was great!

Mr. Steven, Thank you for your patronage & review. We appreciate them both very much. First of all, my sincere apology for your unsatisfactory experience yesterday. We'll definitely do better during your next visit. I was a bit surprised by your review because your server is actually one of our most senior & most experienced servers on our team. She has been with us for 25 yrs, knows the menu by heart & has a great reputation among our regular guests. She brought the misunderstanding to my attention & I promptly removed the incorrect entree from your bill. FYI: We have a chocolate dessert listed on our dessert menu. Their 2 for $59 was a great deal. Other than some very noisy people sitting around us, the food and service were excellent.
