Nice venue - beautiful views. Poor service - including several waiters yelling across dining room for help (e.g. bring water, bring bread). Waiter forgot drinks for different guests several times. Food is average at best.

It has been a while since I've eaten here because the last time the food was horrible. I was presently surprised with the food. I must say that the prices were out of this world. The service was superb Victor was on top of everything.

atmosphere was romantic and the server was patient and kind because i was on an important date. the water and the sunset really added to the great food and wine.

I would love to give Louie’s 5 stars across the board but the noise level (inside) was so high I simply can’t. Conversation was nearly impossible. With that said, it IS a steak & seafood restaurant on the water which is highly desirable so if that doesn’t bother you I would, without question, go for the outstanding food.

We dined during Long Island restaurant week so we had to be seated by 7 pm. We had 6:30 reservations but were not seated until 7. The front of the house couldn’t be more friendly. Exchanging small talk. The restaurant is decorated nicely. We even had a great sunset When we were seated the first server we had seemed to be upset we were ordering off the special menu. She took our drink orders but never saw again. Ordered fried calamari which was hugh and and wedge salad with great fig dressing A Our main course was a steak which was over cooked and a delicious whole branzino which was good dessert was an apple tart just ok as was the lava cake. Since it was restaurant week the bill was very reasonable All in all a nice dinning experience. Especially since we were there on our 10 anniversary manager who found out we had to exit came and offered us a free cocktail which we took him up on

Louie’s was such a delightful restaurant I cannot wait to return. The restaurant is located on the marina in port Washington and is a perfect spot for a sunset visible from different areas of the indoor dining room (and of course three outdoor patio when temperatures rise). The ambiance is fresh; romantic and tastefully decorating. The service and food 10/10. The food selection had me drooling and everything I ate I couldn’t have been happier!

Four of us dined during spring restaurant week. The menu was the same as their prix fixe Sunday through Thursday menu. It offers many choices. Swordfish,branzino, snd marinated strip steak were our choices and all were delicious. We’ll definitely be back to eat on the patio when the weather gets warmer.
