Louie Bossi's Ristorante, Bar & Pizzeria is a high-energy Italian eatery located on E Palmetto Park Road in Boca Raton. Everything on the menu is made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. Chef Louie Bossi serves delicious house made pastas, wood burning Neapolitan pizzas, home cooked Sicilian comfort food and of course, Chef Louie's famous house cured salumi. Very bad service, had reservations at 7:45 finally got our dinner at 8:50 and was never asked if we wanted another drink or anything, this wasn’t the first time it happened there…should have ate at the bar, maybe it would have been a better experience!

Great experience as usual. Marcus, our server was great. Sat outside on a beautiful day. Although it’s kind of loud due to traffic noise, always love to dine outside.

Cocktail (old fashioned) was too sweet. Amateurish. Ribeye was pretty awful. Cooked to right temp, just thin (maybe an inch) and not a good cut of meat. Burrata salad was awesome though.

We have eaten here a few other times and it was good. Tonight was a disaster. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. My fiancé ordered the ravioli with tomato sauce and a side of meatballs. The chicken parmigiana on the menu is described as crispy. My chicken came out bone in, way too thick and worst of all, lukewarm. My fiancé’s ravioli were undercooked to the point of being crunchy. Her meatballs were also not hot. My side of spaghetti was not hot either. The waiter came over and we explained the issues. He was very apologetic and took everything away to be fixed. When the food came back, my chicken was still not hot. My fiancé’s ravioli were basically the same. They needed to make a new order to cook them thoroughly but instead, they must have just put them in a pan because the same half eaten ravioli came out. The waiter came over and then accidentally knocked over a glass of red wine onto her lap. At that point we asked him to just take the ravioli off the bill. The manager came over a few minutes later and was very apologetic. He offered us complimentary deserts and another entree. We got a cannoli and a cheesecake. Cannoli was good, not great. Cheesecake was gritty. I have to stress that the manager and waiter were very nice about the whole thing. The meal was just a major disappointment. We barely ate our food and the manager basically comped the meal.

Horrible. Porkchop was raw. Ordered it med well. Ordered 2 eggplant parmigiana got 2 chicken parmigiana. Fried calamari was horrible. Way to well done. The olive oil for the bread has no flavor. Needed Parmesan or pepper or both. And by the way $5.50 for a Diet Coke! Seriously? Your bench seat tables outside look like they’re going to be comfortable until you sit down and there is no foam in the cushion. You’ve got a lot of work to do before I come back. Horrible!!

Love the restaurant. It was my first visit. Jeff, our server was personable and knowledgeable. We ordered the Coccoli Frito and Olive appetizer. Both were very good. For our entrees, we ordered the Risotto and Shrimp and the Pork Chop. About 10 minutes after ordering, a young man (he didn’t introduce himself) came out to say the Pork Chop was not prepared properly and under able, and the kitchen had no more, so we ordered the Lamb Chops. We even asked to make syrup the Risotto and Shrimp would come out hot and well prepared,as it was going to have to sit for awhile while the replacement order was made. The food came out, and as we feared the Risotto and Shrimp was cold and looked congealed as if it had sat unvcovered. The Lamb Chops were mediocre at best. Very fatty, not consistent in size and appeared to just be strewn on the plate. No attention to presentation and no plate garnish. A bit disappointing. While there was no expectation for anything special to be for the inconvenience, the restaurant appeared very nonchalant about the issue. We will be back, and hopefully have a nicer experience.
