The deep dish pizza is much better than the one at the competition. The place looks old, a little dirty and it had a strange smell.

Honestly, the pizza crust tasted undercooked. Like stale pie crust. Hostess and waitress was lovely.

We had reservations at 415, were not seated until 430. Server did not show until 445. We had to leave at 530 as we had tover cruise reservations. Unfortunately our food had not yet arrived when we had to leave. When the manager cane to speak with us, she was rude and walked away from us. Never Lou’s again!

Fun place for Chicago deep dish pizza. Pretty noisy but that is to be expected. Lots of table turnover so it's easy for your server to lose track of you...it took us awhile to have drinks refreshed etc.

Really love Lou’s pizza! However we were saddled with a waitress that was in no mood to serve us. We had to wait 10 minutes for her to take our order and she didn’t even ask what drinks we wanted first. And then it took more time to bring my drink. She was very short with us when we asked for extra glasses of water. It’s water! She made us feel unwelcome, as if we had done something wrong. Having a bad day? Still put a smile on your face and remember you are representing the company you work for. Our visit left us with a bad impression and a not so enjoyable night.

Puntuales en la mesa, servicio correcto, mucha gente. La pizza está buena (elegimos 1 clásica y una de espinacas para 1 persona) Precio y calidad razonables

It was my girlfriend and I's first time having deep dish pizza and it was amazing, we loved it!

Make sure you have a reservation or you should be prepared to wait. We had a reservation and didn't wait long for our table. Nice lare dinning room in the lower level. All brick and tile so very loud. Minestrone very good, nice broth. Deep dish pizza with their "butter" crust is a bit crunchy. But this is their style. I would prefer a softer crust. Toppings good quality. Good place for groups.

The service wasn’t anything spectacular, our waiter really couldn’t be bothered. We pre ordered 2 personal pies which they seem to encourage (probably to get you in and out faster), glad I checked the receipt when we sat down, because one of the orders was completely written wrong and we would have had to wait another 30 min for them to correct one, while the other came right. I even went back to check my email notes and had it correct. Mistakes happen, and it all worked out, but only because I noticed the receipt first. We also ordered mozz sticks; which were good. Completely standard frozen sticks, but crispy and decent portion. 1 pie came out hot and had good flavors, but it was the butter crust with various toppings. The standard cheese deep dish was so disappointing! Like completely flavorless, the crust was hard and tasted like absolutely nothing, the cheese was not melty and it hardened as it sat out longer and really turned into a gross texture. Sauce on top was fine. I’ve never tasted pizza that lacked this much flavor. Considering the hype and wait times for this place, I’d 100% recommend skipping! The best pizza we had (although not deep dish) was at Parlor Pizza on River north which was brick oven style but far better!
