My wife, daughter and I had a Saturday evening dinner at Lu Lu on market. The NULU area had a great energy and we were able to get seated around our reservation time. The place was packed but the service team handled the overflow with expertise. Our food of Jambalaya, Cajun dip, pizza and oyster po boy were terrific. It was a solid meal and a good vibe.

The food was great, service was good, prices are a little too high for the apps and drinks, and unfortunately it was VERY noisy on the second floor. But overall, it is worth checking out for the food... maybe sit on the first floor or one of the outdoor patios.

One of our party has serious mobility problems and they seated us in a perfect spot. Our server was quick to stop at our table and made excellent suggestions. Our food was served relatively quickly and the flavors were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the shrimp and grits. We enjoyed everything about our experience and found the cost to be very reasonable. We love trying their dishes and plan to be back soon.

We went for Fat Tuesday and it was phenomenal. It was our first time but definitely won’t be our last.

This was our first experience with Lou Lou on Market, and it was the Mardi Gras celebration. THe food was delicious, the staff was great.
