It was a great night with a bunch of friends. There were nine of us. We enjoyed all the food however we couldn’t hear each other talk because it was so loud.

Lou Lou in Middletown was a disappointment. The other 2 Lou Lou restaurants are very good and I was expecting the same here. Our server was bad. The burgers were wrong, overcooked and bad. I will try again due to good experiences at other locations. I hope they will get their act together as it would be a welcome addition to Middletown.

We had a couple issues but it’s reassuring that two managers came to the table and fixed it. Never have had same issues at their other restaurants. The Middletown is brand new so I will give them another shot.

Loved the ambiance and decor. Food is consistently good, service was great, attentive but not overbearing in spite of being very busy.

Overall great experience. Food and drinks were excellent. Our server, Adam M was outstanding and recommended the bayou dip. You need to try it, u won’t be disappointed. Salmon was cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back!

I want a nice restaurant in Middletown to succeed. I think this one can. The menu looks good. Just need to brush up the service a little. Our server was nice and generally on top of our beverages, but the arrival of the food was slow. Six of us were crowded into a small booth. The room wasn’t so crowded—I think there was room for us at a larger table. We had a good time. Our Wednesday lunch group gave it a favorable review.

The service was 10/10. We received our food in a timely manner especially with it being busy. Everything was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back.

My friend and I decided to try the lunch menu and we were not disappointed! I got the Cajun Catfish sandwich with a side of cheese grits, and my friend got the Gumbo. We both were impressed with the flavors in both dishes - just a little bit of spice to make it interesting, and large enough portions to have some left over for dinner. Our server, Brittany, was very attentive, and asked us several times if we needed more drinks, ensured that we were happy with our order, and generally made us feel at home. The dining room was pretty full, but it wasn't loud or distracting at all. Folks in Middletown need to make their way to this beautiful new spot for lunch or dinner. We have needed a fun place to eat and visit with friends, and the ambience here is perfect for that.
