Lou Lou Food + Drink is my newest favorite restaurant. Everything on the menu is excellent! Double Deep dish pizza, Twin Crab Cakes with the veggies, red beans & rice, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Meatball Sandwich, linguini and meatballs. The only thing I’m not a fan of is their bread on the side. It’s spongy and just doesn’t have much flavor. Regardless of the bread on the side, this place is amazing.

Lunch today at Cafe Lou Lou was very good, as always. Also, an outstanding value compared with many other eating establishments in Louisville.

Arrived on time for 6:00 pm reservation and was seated quickly. Proceeded to wait 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and request for a small wedge salad before our meal orders. Waited another 35 minutes to get ordered salad. The noise level was very concerning. Could barely hear person sitting across table. Our entrees were ordered at time of salad delivery…a total of 75 minutes had passed before only part of our orders were delivered. Another 10 minutes passed before the remaining entrees were delivered. There were only 3 in our party. Food was mediocre at best. Service was terrible. Will not return or encourage anyone else to try this restaurant. As this was our 1st visit, and a birthday celebration…totally ruined the experience.

really noisy for 2 old deaf people. We do love the place so go often! Food was wonderful and service was outstanding, as always.

What a great experience! This was our first time at this restaurant but it definitely won’t be the last. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.
