The food and atmosphere was exceptional, but the service could have been better. We were never asked if we wanted a second drink and were unable to get our server’s attention until the meal was over. We would have spent more money on drinks had our server bothered to check in on us.

It was Fat Tuesday so that was the reason the high noise level but we knew that going. Great atmosphere. Been there many other times and the noise level is fine.

Service was very good and so was the food. Unfortunately, the lack of acoustics caused the server to misunderstand my order and omitted the chicken which I wanted. It wasn't the end of the world, but he admitted he couldn't hear my request.

I love Lou Lou's. It's super casual. Conversations can be heard without having to shout. Entrees are all good and tasty. The banana pudding for dessert was average, I thought, although our server said it was made in house with a one-of-kind recipe. The bread pudding is the dessert to have. It's a good way to end a good time.
