Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

The crab dish - excellent but pricey 💕Best rad na and green curry I’ve ever had. Lychee martini was sweet and sour. A great combo. Service 10 My husband and I were seated in the room in the back next to a long table of 10. It was very loud because there was only 2 feet of space between us. Just wished there was more room so that we could hear each other. Other than that, it was an excellent experience.

The food was excellent from the spring rolls appetizer (the best ever) to the beef salad, chicken lard and Northern Thai curry! Very good flavor and spicy the way we like it! Only downside side was the wines are expensive, so probably have some lower priced options. We will be back! Service was outstanding as well.

I’ve been wanting to dine at Lotus if Siam for a while and finally had the chance. I was not disappointed! The food was amazing! I will be coming back anytime I’m in Vegas.

Excellent food. Started with the Tom Kha hot pot and chicken larb salad, followed by the garlic prawns and crispy duck Panang. Everything was excellent. I come here every time I come to Las Vegas and it never disappoints.

I have been coming here for years. Food is still great, prices are LV so no complaints. It feels like a process line. Paper napkins, how horrific when you spend $200 for 2. Ordering from a machine, not very personal. Good for the food, not the service, In and Out burgers have better.

We had a reservation but were seated in the bar area which was very loud. The food was delicious, however they were out of a few appetizers we ordered. I would go back for thr crispy prawns.

Excellent food and service. The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu offerings and made excellent suggestions for my meal.
