Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review, Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then, Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipin’s distinct cooking has been passed down from generation to generation, from both her grandmothers and her husband’s grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the “Northern” world of Thailand, away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices, along with Thai style stews and coconut-less curries. Through her set menus, our guests can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.

Staff was really hospitable. The food was amazing. Taste texture visually stunning. Will make sure to come back the next time I'm in Vegas.

Flamingo must be the anchor restaurant, but the Red Rock food and presentation taste better.

Every item we ordered exceeded our expectations which were high to begin with. Service was efficient, very helpful, and friendly. Only complaint was our table for two was sandwiched between two other tables that made it feel somewhat like we’re dining as a group with strangers.

While in town for a conference we dined at this gem of a restaurant. The ambience was great and the service attentive but not intrusive. The food was spectacular! Garlic crispy shrimp and fried chicken wontons are musts in the appetizers. The shrimp Pad Thai and the wok steak were both delightful! Thank you!

Everything was fantastic! The only thing I would say was my chicken was slightly overcooked, so some pieces felt rubbery, but it was overall great!

Heard about this place from YouTube influencer Travel Ruby. In the Uber on the way over the driver said it's a great place. Greeted upon entry and seated within 10mins. Great waitress, staff polite, professional and friendly. Food was awesome. Definitely recommend reservations. Thank you for a great meal!

Here for (birthday) dinner on colleague recommendation and they did not disappoint. Fresh. Flavor. Fab. Room for improvement with enforcing dress code. Nice location.
