Seated promptly with a reservation. Food was good but disappointed they did not have their signature Cesar Salad. Service was good until we wanted our bill. It took over 30 minutes and my husband having to go find waiter.

Very authentic and well designed open air restaurant. Each chair upstairs has a blanket for your use and there are heaters near each table. Food was amazing with every dish (including tortillas and chips) scratch made in house. Service level is 5-star with each waiter fluent in at least english and Spanish. Waiters were appropriately very attentive and accommodating. Drinks are very good, but pricey. FYI, 3-person Mariachi band was there serenading tables for explicit tips after they play. Overall a new favorite while in San Jose.

We love tres gallos. We had a 6:30 reservation on new years eve. Wanted to have the caesar salad but the were out. Very dissappointing Other than no salad it was very good

Food was just average, if not below. Ordered Tacos del Mar, shrimp was ok but lobster and fish were nothing to write home about. Both were cold and had no flavor. My partner ordered chicken mole: mole sauce was simply poured over cooked chicken, chicken was not cooked in the mole. Also, mole sauce tasted mostly of cinnamon, barely any chocolate or other spices. It was also cold. Not even the Mexican rice was good. Prices high for what it is. Cocktails at $15-20 is crazy. Not impressed.

Good is great, service is great. When we arrived the hostess refused to seat us on the roof even though there were many tables available upstairs. However this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our waiter Manuel was absolutely amazing — helpful, attentive and courteous. After we were sat and peeked upstairs to see that there were multiple available tables and spoke with a manager Manuel offered to move us upstairs which we declined as we wanted to keep Manuel as our server. All of our food was delicious authentic Mexican dishes. We ordered the table-side Caesar, which Abraham prepared for us - while telling us the history of the Caesar salad and how it was invented in Tijuana! The enchiladas were great, the filet was even better. For dessert we ordered the table-side flambé, which Abraham also prepared while telling us how to make it at home! This dessert I will be dreaming about in NYC. Abraham and Manuel made our last night in Cabo so special. We truly had a great meal despite the hostess’ refusal to our request to sit upstairs. I can’t say better things about Los Tres Gallos - it’s a must visit in Cabo for us.

Los Tres Gallos is a treat to enjoy. With great local Mexican food, the service goes above and beyond. Food was excellently prepared and served warm. Recommended for anyone who travels to San Jose Del Cabo.
