Los Tamarindos a Farm-to-Table Restaurant is located in San José del Cabo, at the tip of México's Baja Peninsula, only a mile from the Sea of Cortez. The farm and Restaurant occupied the side of a former 19th-century sugar cane plantation. In 2003, owner and excecutive chef Enrique Silva spearheaded the property's return to agriculture, this time becoming a sustainable farm, one if the first in the area.

Absolutely beautiful garden surroundings and dining area under a thatched roof veranda with rustic chairs and hanging vines . Our anniversary dinner was so delicious and the service was top notch. 3 couples were celebrating the same Oct 1st anniversary- 44 yrs, 41 yrs and 2 yrs. Don’t miss this spectacular dining venue when in San Jose del Cabo .

Absolutely a wonderful experience from the property, the outdoor ambiance, the service and the food. We ordered the mezcal shrimp, suckling pig and grilled Caesar salad with shrimp. The food was fresh and the drinks were delicious. Juan, the director of the restaurant personally made sure we were enjoying our meal and made great recommendations. Highly recommend!

The restaurant had great food and drinks but getting there was VERY challenging as the road had been washed away the prior week by rains and no one let us know. Google Maps sent us right down a sand road, across a running creek before we stopped and turned back before it was having us cross a river! We eventually rerouted and got there- it was quite an adventure. The people at the restaurant seemed to have heard this before and didn’t seem all that surprised at what we were telling them.

Tamarindos is a beautiful location with the perfect ambience for an authentic evening in Cabo. My second visit was just as amazing as my first. I highly recommend. Try to arrive before your reservations to take advantage of the opportunity to walk around the grounds.

The servers were spectacular. The grounds were gorgeous with interesting history. The food was extraordinary. We loved Los Tamarindos. Not to be missed.

If you want an off the grid like experience and fresh foods and drinks , this is a must. We went here on Thursday before the San Jose Del Cabo art walk . We were the only diners there at 3:30 and were spoiled by great service. We noted a wedding and cooking classes going on at the property but this place is so big we never ran into anyone else.

Delicious brunch at a very reasonable price. Impeccable service to go with it. Quite the favorable surprise! Best chilaquiles in town, excellent thai salad and the pork was also outstanding. The road to get there is a lot easier now than it was before.

We love Flora Farms and Acre, Los Tamarindos was every bit as good if not better. Food was wonderful, we really enjoyed the vibe. Ambiance was great. Will definitely be putting this on the list for future visits. Probably the best octopus and shrimp I ever had and the vegetables were outstanding.
