TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

Food was good, service was really bad our waitress had no energy and seemed like she really didn’t want to be there.. They didn’t bring one of our dishes and she didn’t really seem bothered or to have noticed and then the bill was wrong there was two extra alcoholic drinks on there which we didn’t order.

I specifically asked to be seated in the restaurant but was seated on the terrace. The bar was literally right behind my seat so people standing at the bar were literally bumping into my seat and standing around our table. Food was okay but lacked flavour so nothing worth coming back for and very overpriced

The food was very nice, however the service to me felt very very rushed, we had to order drinks as soon as we sat down (we didn’t get to explore the menu properly before we were asked), then two seconds later order food, then 5 seconds later had the waitress with the bill and card machine asking us to pay. A lil disappointing but overall 3/5 experience.

We went to Los Mochis for my wife’s birthday. The staff was very nice and helpful, the Maitre D’hôtel went to refill our glasses of champagne many times, the waiters were great. We had the tasting menu, and we were full at the end which is a nice positive note. The fish was of good quality. I felt slightly rushed as usually when you have a tasting menu, there is a break in between dishes but they just kept them coming all the time and it felt a little bit rushed (sometimes two dishes at once). The view and location were awesome, the downside is all the instagram girls taking selfies in the bathroom, reception area, making it a bit crowded. Finally the bill arrived and I was disappointed to find a 15% service charge which wasn’t disclosed previously. I don’t know if this goes towards wages or tips, but 15% is a bit high in my opinion, I would have happily left a 20-30£ tip (equating to ~10% of the total bill) instead.

The food itself was really delicious and we loved the atmosphere - we went on a Saturday night so there was a DJ playing, but it was just the right volume so we were able to talk as normal. The service was great too and the staff were really attentive. We were celebrating our 3 year anniversary too so they brought out a little treat for us which was very thoughtful. However, the portion sizes were REALLY small so it was very expensive for what we actually had. We were told to order 5-6 plates between two of us, but that definitely wasn’t enough!

The restaurant is lovely and the food was good however the service could have really been better. We were sat in the outside area where it was pretty freezing and when we asked to have the heating on it was too hot so not the most comfortable seating arrangement. It would be nice to be given the option of sitting inside when booking the table. One of my friends ordered her food and the waiter took her order and then left for 10 mins and then came back for the rest of us which meant my friend had all of her food way before the rest of us did. One of my other friends also found a hair in her tacos which is never a great experience. We knew how long we had the table booking for but the waiter kept coming up to us telling us how much time we had left making us feel very rushed and uncomfortable.
