TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. Available every second and fourth Tuesday of each month. *Subject to availability.

I had such an amazing experience the service was amazing and the food was stunning. My friends and I had such a good time. The staff were amazing. Shreyas was very nice, making sure we were happy with everything and checking to see if we needed anything. Will definitely be revisiting!!

I went to Los Mochis 14th December We wanted desert after our main and we got told by a lady that there was no time and we had to give the table back!!! We walked out there were lots of tables empty and we were very unhappy with the service

Delicious food and good portion sizes in a beautiful venue. Lots of great veggie and vegan options so there’s something for everyone.

We had reserved our table for 6:00 PM but weren’t seated until 6:15 PM. Despite this delay, the service felt rushed from the start. We were pressed to place our food order quickly, and I wasn’t even allowed to keep a menu after ordering, which felt unusual. The food arrived very quickly, all at once, giving the impression that we were being hurried along rather than allowed to enjoy our meal at a comfortable pace. To make matters worse, before we could even consider ordering dessert, we were informed that we only had 10 minutes left before our table had to be vacated. While the food itself was excellent, the service left much to be desired—especially given that we spent nearly £500 for a group of five. It was a significant letdown, as we had been looking forward to this outing as part of our family Christmas celebration.

Had to queue to get in, we were seated inside the bar area where we had everyone standing around us being drunk and loud, we got our bill handed in without having the chance to order dessert, food was good but not worth the price, overall just disappointing and will not recommend

Booked restaurant but were seated in the bar. Charged for 4 glasses of champagne when we had 2 and when mentioned not so much as a sorry, just slow deduction from bill, almost as if this is a normal occurrence. From the second we ordered we got told of the time we had left at the table - max 1 hr 45 mins even although we had to chase for drinks. Not an enjoyable experience at all - clearly a place that is of being seen and to take a picture and move on.

There were four people in my party and we all had the tasting menu. Almost everything on the menu was sensational - delicious ingredient pairings and sophisticated flavour profiles that really highlighted the Japanese-Mexican fusion. However, the ube panna cotta was really disappointing (bland and weird that we had to share) and ended the tasting menu on a flat note. Staff were attentive but from the moment we received our menus it felt like we were being rushed out - perhaps there's a way to ensure efficient service without making customers feel like you're already ready for them to leave? We were sat in the outside area which was much louder than inside and made it hard for us to hear each other. We'd definitely come back - maybe mid-week instead of on a Friday night, and seated inside.
