TENrei: The Art of Tuna Ceremony at Los Mochis London City is an immersive 10-course, 12-seater experience led by Executive Head Chef. The unveiling of a whole, uncut tuna, starts the ceremony, followed by an intricate, skilful breakdown using traditional Japanese knives, where Chef Tanyag guides guests through each step of the process, from expertly filleting the fish to detailing the unique techniques and flavours of each cut, including coveted sections like otoro (fatty belly), chutoro (medium-fat), and akami (lean). Each stage is a celebration of Japanese culinary art, where guests sample the tuna’s freshest cuts immediately as they are prepared. I went to Los Mochis 14th December We wanted desert after our main and we got told by a lady that there was no time and we had to give the table back!!! We walked out there were lots of tables empty and we were very unhappy with the service

Booked restaurant but were seated in the bar. Charged for 4 glasses of champagne when we had 2 and when mentioned not so much as a sorry, just slow deduction from bill, almost as if this is a normal occurrence. From the second we ordered we got told of the time we had left at the table - max 1 hr 45 mins even although we had to chase for drinks. Not an enjoyable experience at all - clearly a place that is of being seen and to take a picture and move on.

There were four people in my party and we all had the tasting menu. Almost everything on the menu was sensational - delicious ingredient pairings and sophisticated flavour profiles that really highlighted the Japanese-Mexican fusion. However, the ube panna cotta was really disappointing (bland and weird that we had to share) and ended the tasting menu on a flat note. Staff were attentive but from the moment we received our menus it felt like we were being rushed out - perhaps there's a way to ensure efficient service without making customers feel like you're already ready for them to leave? We were sat in the outside area which was much louder than inside and made it hard for us to hear each other. We'd definitely come back - maybe mid-week instead of on a Friday night, and seated inside.

Was here last night lovely atmosphere. The vibe was good. The music was good. The drinks are really good as well. The food was good. I would say it’s more bite-size small plates. The crispy duck rice was lovely. The vegetable soup we had was lovely as well. The tacos were nice as well. Overall food was OK. Drinks were really nice, I would go again, but maybe just for drinks and there are duck crispy rice

Was such a great night it was very busy due to it being Xmas party season but our server was amazing and made my birthday special- he remembered everyone’s orders and explained what it was and recommend plates to order - I would 100% come back and can’t wait for summer time. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it is a nut free kitchen which is so rare. I would recommend the pork tacos,guacamole and duck on crispy rice and lamb cutlets / skewers

Lovely food. Didn’t quite feel like any kind of fusion. Very much one or the other. Great service but also felt rushed out of the door which didn’t feel great given the overall cost of the experience.

I can't rave enough about the food. Absolutely delicious and so fresh. Can't fault it at all.
