We’re in the heart of Fat City in Metairie on the corner of 18th Street and Edenborn Ave, near Lakeside Shopping Center, close to the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, also about 10 mins from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been here and I won’t go back. Our food was good. The hostess was very friendly as was the runner from the kitchen who brought our food out. They were actually the ones the made our dining experience better. We asked several times for drink refills, sweetner for the tea, an extra plate and napkins from our waitress and never did get them. The hostess and runner were helpful and brought these items to us. Our party consisted of 4 adults and a 4 year old and I was surprised to see that a 20% large party gratuity had been added to the bill. I considered speaking to the manager which is something I never do but he had been at a couple of other tables that had complaints and actually argued with them. There are too many other places in this area to eat where the experience and atmosphere is better so in the future I’d prefer to spend my money at those establishments.

The mahi mahi on the fish tacos was extremely "fishy" and the shrimp on the grilled shrimp salad were so bad that the entire table of 7 could smell them when it was brought to the table. We ate before the dinner rush and only had two other tables seated at the time, however service was very slow. By the time the last person was served, the first person had already finished their meal.

I love coming to this restaurant because I enjoy the food, drinks and the overall atmosphere. I’ll continue to visit this restaurant for its great hospitality.

My experience was great! Our food was yummy, drinks were bomb, waitress was top tier always apologizing for what she thought was delays but it actually wasn’t long lol the only issue was the floors in the middle area was extremely slippery. Like I had to walk very very careful and just as I said I didn’t want to fall and elderly woman fell : ( I went over to assist. I do not recall any member of management coming out to check on her or speak with her

Went for brunch. The seafood queso was the best dish. Birria tacos were good. The shrimp and grits were good however they are pictured and described as coming with crab legs and they do not. Was not made aware of this until the concern was raised when the food came. Wait was a bit long for entrees (chilaquiles and shrimp and grits) but the queso and birria tacos came pretty fast
