This was our first visit to Lore, and we loved it. The server Lauren was great and Amanda at the bar was as well…can’t wait to go back!

Service is outstanding, expresso martinis are the best and they have the best pizza in Middletown. Amanda always delivers great service even when the staff is slammed.

It was decent. Had live music and a lively bar. It’s small so there are no spaces to shelter from the energy.

Was happy to find this jewel. The food and service was excellent. Our waitress was a first timer . She was amazing. To top it off the acoustic music was icing on the cake. We will return on Buck a shuck night. Thank you Lore for a wonderful evening

First time. Went there for dinner. Unbeknownst to us, we had been given the lunch menu. We were surprised that the place only had sandwiches, salads, and pizza, but we didn’t know any better. We ordered and saw the table next to us getting dinner plates, like steak and fish. We were very disappointed that we were eating pizza and salad when there were other options we just didn’t know about. My wives pizza was undercooked and could not pick it up, had to eat with a fork and knife. My son’s sandwich was the capresse, 0 mozzarella cheese. Just tomato and arugula. The server was great. She did the best she could.

We are so sorry to hear you had this experience at our restaurant. This is abnormal and unacceptable; we do hope you give us another chance and dine with us again. We have spoken to our team in efforts to avoid anything like this in the future.

The first person in our party ordered the Banana French Toast. Unfortunately, they were out of Bananas. The waiter asked if she would like strawberries as a substitute and that was fine per the first person. The second person wanted some wheat bread toast but settled for white bread toast. I was the last to order and I just wanted the Buttermilk Pancakes. Unfortunately, they were out of pancakes. This was my 75th Birthday celebration and we were starting on the wrong foot. I decided to have the Caesar salad. The good news is that the strawberries were delicious and enhanced the French toast. The white bread seemed fresh baked and was delicious. The salad was good. I was surprised with a complemantary Strawberry Shortcake dessert. It was amazing. OUr waiter turned a bad situation into an amazing experience.

The food was fantastic. There were 4 of us including my young son. He loved the wings. My mother had the braised short rib. Melted in your mouth and was tasty. My husband had the lamb. Was delicious but the portion was too small (only two lamb lollipops). I had the shrimp appetizer which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the service was lacking. We got seated and waited 15 mins before we had to ask to get water. Finally someone came over to get our drink order. Cocktails came out before sodas. I ordered a Caesar salad and was brought a wedge salad after asking twice about the whereabouts of my salad. The server did comp our first round of drinks and followed up throughout the evening. However, it was long stretches of time for her checking in and I had to ask twice about my food. Will try again for another meal. Entertainment was great, atmosphere was cool, food was delicious. They just need to step up their service.

We had a great dinner. Brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizers are cooked to perfection. The wedge salad is a nice size. For our entrees we had the pasta chicken dish, the salmon and the short rib. For dessert the chocolate budino and the butter cake. The fig martini and the Aperol spritz are very nice beverages. This place has become the best in town. Our server Sam was fantastic. He is the type of server that would do well in the city. Professional waiters are hard to find!
