We had a delightful meal sitting at the counter on a Monday night. While the restaurant is cozy and tight and it was completely full with guests, the noise level wasn't noticeable at all so we were able to have conversation throughout. Our server/bartender Erica was sweet and helpful, offering us her menu recommendations (even suggesting food pairings in addition to wine pairings). The soup is divine, Erica convinced us to try the green salad which did not disappoint (especially those persimmons!) and I LOVED the cauliflower - sweet and savory FTW. For mains we tried the gnocchi and the muscles and clams (which surprise, also had black cod which was a buttery treat!). We wrapped up with their signature cake. Everything was incredible and I appreciated that although the flavors were rich and complex, nothing felt overly heavy. We also enjoyed a glass of their house Cab which was fruity and wonderful. I'd never been to Chef Stocks previous spot, Holdfast because I have some dietary restrictions and the prefix wasn't ideal, so I loved being able to try his creations and choose my own adventure. Did not disappoint! And the price is quite reasonable for a restaurant receiving as many accolades as they have as of late. Kudos! We'll be back.

Loved the service, outstanding. Food was 4.8/5; sturgeon, duck, green salad and orange cake were the standouts. Gnocchi and pork were very good as well but second place, cheese appetizer was OK but I wouldn’t order again. Blue room was a bit loud for me I had trouble hearing our waiter. Loved using the inKind gift cards for a discount from Costco. Overall I would highly recommend, get the sturgeon even if fish isn’t your thing, it’s worth it. Parking was easy, small but cozy atmosphere

Great little french bistro style restaurant. The ambience feels cozy and friendly, built as a home with a nice counter in the living room area. Service was friendly and food was delicious.

This European + Mediterranean + PNW inspired restaurant is quaint, adorable, cozy and has all the little details down even including their cute bathroom decor. I loved all the different colorful wallpaper throughout. They have different rooms for their seating which makes it more intimate and not as loud. The staff is down-to-earth and very helpful with the menu and narrowing down choices from the wine list to the menu and dessert. I personally loved the cheese small plate (fun to eat), scallop small plate, French onion soup, pork & duck main entrees. The execution of each dish was excellent. The wine selection is fantastic as well. The prices are also very reasonable so you’re able to try several items without breaking the bank. I would highly recommend this spot for any occasion, really, but a nice date night or girls night would be perfect. I can't wait to come back to try more.

Not our first visit here and won't be our last. L'Orange combines great dishes (onion soup is back for the winter!) and wine pairings, low key but attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. The mussels and clams were served in a Zatarains spiced broth for a kick and the L'orange cake is bright and comforting and crunchy sweet with caramelized sugar at the edges. The three separate dining areas keep noise at a level that facilitates conversation, such a rare and nostalgic idea: Other restaurants can keep their noisy, spare dining areas with music that muscles out any attempts at conversation, we are delighted to have L'Orange as a dining option.

Seriously, one of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had. We shared apps, small plates, and entrees, (plus a couple desserts) and I can’t tell you what was the best dish, or even the top 2 or 3. All were wonderful. Need a complaint? The wine was so-so and the guys at the next table wore smelly cologne. But the food was imaginative, dynamic and delicious. Star anise in onion soup. A new requirement in my house!

We sat at the chef's counter with a great view into the tiny kitchen, which was an experience in itself. No wonder the food is so good because that's one peaceful, harmonious and efficient kitchen. The service stands out at L'Orange for enthusiasm and personal attention. Our server, Erica, was so lovely and that last time I was there I also had an amazing server. We ordered the mushroom broth-based French onion soup, which was my daughter's favorite due to the garlic bread pudding - custardy texture against the crispiness of the cheese - and the intricate, delicious flavors. I had (for the second time) gnocchi which does not fail to delight due to the pillowy texture and layers of sauces and flavors. Dessert must include the orange cake because the flavor of natural orange is strong and pleasant. Again with the textures: burnt sugar crust, moist cake, cardamon icing and orange gelee. So many flavors to mix and match on the fork. We also had the white chocolate mousse with layers of cake and cranberry. So good. We'll be back for the service, the food and the sweet ambiance.
