L'Orange showcases classic European dishes across a range of influences — from the Walloon region of Belgium, through the Cafés and Bistros of Paris and countryside of Provence; into the Basque Country and Catalonian regions of Spain, to the tip of the Iberian Peninsula. Guests will also enjoy the best of the Mediterranean, with flavors from Italy, Sicily, and Greece, all with a Southern flair.
We value transparency and work directly with our producers to offer the freshest, sustainable ingredients.
Whether you are an aficionado or connoisseur, or simply looking for a singular experience, supper at L'Orange is more than just thought-provoking food, it's the beginnings of French Chef, Christophe Moulin’s mark on the culinary scene of Middle Tennessee — all from the heart of Murfreesboro.

We went to L’Orange for our 39th wedding anniversary dinner, just the two of us. It is a splurge, but worth it. They had a good choice of cocktails. We were offered still, tap or sparkling water. The first course was a lovely dish to share of lightly fried squash blossoms filled with ricotta cheese. The second course was my favorite with peach wedges, fresh burrata mozzarella, a balsamic reduction and crumbled pancetta. The flavors were perfectly balanced. My husband’s favorite was the pasta bolognese, with a generous serving. I did find it a bit dry. The final course was dessert, a mixed berry cassatta. It was a good finish. I do hope they work out better air conditioning. It was a bit warm. Also, the music was a weird throw back. Maybe they were going for a speakeasy kind of vibe. Thankful it wasn’t the typical current country filler music.

Every course was amazing. Plating was meticulous and beautiful. Server was lighthearted and attentive. The only negative was the indoor temperature and lack of air flow. I understand the venue is essentially an unventilated barn, but a few fans would have made a world of difference on a 95 degree day.

Pop up featuring French and Italian dishes. The menu last night was fried zucchini flowers, peach and burrata salad and an amazing wild boar and wagyu beef bolognese with fresh pasta. Everything was amazing and we look forward to their next pop up. A welcome addition to the dining scene here with a menu that is unique to the area

My second time dining at L'Orange. The first time was for Mother's Day brunch, which was delicious but so heavy on the bread base. My first dinner at L'orange and the food was delicious. The fried zucchini with cream cheese was light, along with the peach and burrata salad. Not too filling and I was able to still eat and enjoy the beef dish and dessert. The dessert was light and refreshing which was perfect compliment to the hot weather. I personally ordered the Golden Hour cocktail and it too was delicious, would order again. The one issue that I had that should be addressed was how hot the restaurant was. I did not ask or hear from our server, but possibly the a/c was down. This did make it a tad unpleasant considering it was 90+ degrees outside.

Good with a caveat: The gazpacho was delicious. The cheesecake was very good. The cocktails are a definite treat. The salad and boeuf bourguignon were exactly as these standards should be. By food alone, for the food we received, it was good. Frustrations occurred early and set the tone for our dining “experience.” We pre-purchased add-ons, confirmed the reservation in advance, arrived early… and it was as if we were walk-ins. Our already paid for appetizers were given to other diners with an earlier seating. No apologies or acknowledgement beyond the appetizer cost being credited to the rest of the meal’s final price. Of the appetizers that did arrive, there were no utensils to serve the various cheese, jam, etc. The place setting was standard and would have been fine, but for having to use them for serving. We had to ask for silverware for subsequent courses. Based on the response I am guessing silverware was in short supply. Continuing the night with utensil issues, one of my guests had their silverware removed prior to desert and was handed cheesecake with nothing but hands to eat it with. Most professionals I know would spot this and rectify it without being asked. I promise we weren’t being lavish with these items. The baked cheese with apples was delicious, but served on a plastic “log” that was so slick it slid across the table and required one hand to firmly prevent it from moving while single handedly trying to get the cheese. Dining with friends is one of my great pleasures. I am usually good at spotting rough nights or if I went in with incorrect preconceptions. There are places at the same price point that had a hiccup and I still gladly tried again. In this case, I think there is perhaps a missing link in overall management and some basics were not attended to. With one or two adjustments, this would have hit the bar for being worth risking a second try. It was not and I am very glad it was a dinner with jovial friends and not a client.

Wonderful experience! We arrived early and sat in the back of the room and had wine and cocktails with an appetizer. All of the food was excellent! We had the May dinner menu. The servers are were attentive but need to increase their awareness of where their guests are in the dining process of the menu. The attention to details flatware, drinks snd pre-busing for the next course. We will definitely be back!!!

I recently visited a restaurant on Mother's Day and was pleased with the location and the ambiance, which made me feel like I was on a farm. The service was good, but the food was only so-so. As there was a limited liquor license, only champagne was being served. The pre-fix menu had three servings, and we enjoyed the great bread and the good prosciutto and melon. However, our main course, the Croque Monsieur, was a bit dry and difficult to cut. We had to request steak knives, and the main entree was only lukewarm. Although it wasn't bad, it wasn't what I would have expected for a $120 lunch with just one glass of champagne each. Mother's Day may have had an impact, so I would like to try it again under normal conditions. Despite this, I would still go back to the restaurant since the atmosphere and location were quite cool.
