Wonderful new place. Gorgeous view of the trees changing. The river is visible out the window. Try their great signature drinks. Excellent wait staff. A good place to relax.

If haven’t been to Lookout Bar, you’ve missed out on an amazing opportunity! We were amazed by the gorgeous view and the sharp restaurant. Our wait staff was great snd gave delicious recommendations! Wine was good snd Bear Paw drink even better! It’s a MUST do if you want to see the moon rise and sun set in one place!

Service was horrible. 5 of 6 drink orders were messed up - wrong drinks, duplicates, no olives after repeated requests. Wrong food was brought, our food never showed up well over an hour in so we said enough and left. Place is small and not busy at all so no good excuses for such bad service.

I liked the intimate vibe and pretty decor. You can’t beat the view. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I wish they had a wider selection of wines. The food was delicious and ample serving sizes for small plates.

Need to improve wine list. There were only a few whites… maybe four. The waiter said they were out of the one I ordered; vin de Savoie. He brought me a taste of a different white that I didn’t like so I ordered a French rose, and there were only two of those. We went downstairs for dinner, where the wine list was much better. All the F and B manager needs to do is bring the dining room wines into the Rooftop Bar. Also: need to improve signage. After walking through the lobby, the front desk directed us outside, then told us to look for the elevator . The only visible elevator goes to the residences. One of the residents told us to walk around the corner to a TOTALLY HIDDEN ELEVATOR. At the Residences a sign with an arrow would be helpful. That way people would know to keep going. In the snow or freezing cold weather it would be very annoying to have to wander around looking for a hidden elevator.

We absolutely loved celebrating our honeymoon here! We ordered the switchel for 2 and it was amazing!!

Lookout bar is a great new bar in Avon. They have beautiful views of both beaver creek and the vail back bowls. Chef Tom’s food is amazing and the drinks and fun and unique! I highly suggest making a reservation because it is a small space and it fills up quickly.

Wonderful views food and drinks! We saw the prettiest rain storm roll in followed by a rainbow and lovely sunset all while drinking some great cocktails. I will be going back!
