Longplay Bistro is the summation of the things that we enjoy - a casual, sometimes rowdy environment in which to eat good bistro food, drink great wine and listen to records with friends and family. A quiet catch up between three friends. The recently expanded menu was a treat. Highlights were the beetroot and the calamari from the grill. Always good, always worth the effort. If you haven't been there...why not?

Exceptional service - warm, generous and informative. The food was great, the wine list impressive and the digestif's incredible (can't wait for the Brighter Later Green Walnut to be released!)

Limited menu but delicious food. Nice setting. Service extremely slow - waiting 40 minutes between starter and mains kind of ruins the entire experience, especially as it wasn’t overly busy at that time.

The place is an absolute gem! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, kitchen staff are on display in an open kitchen where you can see their culinary skills. Menu is interesting and designed for sharing. Staff were attentive and ensure that we had breaks between each course and food was ready when we were ready for the next dish. Background music was interesting and really complimented the venue. Sound buffering in the ceiling help reduce ambient noise which is important with so many hard surfaces. Overall a great way to spend our anniversary and will definitely be back.

5 stars all round, great service from all the team on site, amazing food recommendations and paring options. We really loved our experience and food was phenomenal!

Dana was super lovely and we enjoyed the experience. Veal tartare with house made chips was exceptional.

First restaurant I’ve been to in a long time that we were talked out of the feed me menu. Unfortunately, this venue appears to be sandwiched inbetween 2 live music venues that both seem to be audible within the dining space and the restaurant plays its own competing music. A bombardment of noise, weird vibe. Food we had was nice enough. Octopus and Nannigai was delicious .
