First night back in Hawaii for holidays - we had a long and stressful trip from Australia but when we sat down at Longhi’s last night it all melted away!!!! Food was delicious, ambience and sunset view delightful, server very attentive. We will be back many times and look forward to our friends arriving to take them there to for a lovely evening.

While staying at another hotel in the area we decided to have brunch here. It was so nice and relaxing.

I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately too many things were wrong. We requested a table with a view and were placed with full sun shining directly in our faces in spite of many tables where the chairs faced slightly away from the direct sun. That’s ok, not a huge deal. Drinks and appetizers were good. We had the artichoke and the cauliflower. Not outstanding, but good. I ordered a steak, well done. Unfortunately it was extremely tough and flavorless. I get it, it’s hard to pull off an excellent steak well done, but this was pretty bad. The mashed potatoes tasted off, maybe from a box, but I’m not picky about potatoes and I did not like these at all. They did provide a free dessert since I did not like my main course. I ordered the cheesecake which was very good. It would have been nice if the manager had come to check on the situation, but she didn’t and I get the impression they just didn’t care. The ambiance was a bit off, too. No background music as you would expect in a nice restaurant, except for some music coming from the bar area. Our server was adequate and there were a few staff coming to check on us throughout the meal. Several other staff seemed to be just standing around. Overall I expected much more for the price and location. I see there are so many good reviews about this place so hopefully our experience was a one off.

Lobster Eggs Benedict was fabulous! Fresh pineapple on the side was so yummy. Great view and great service.

First of all, the service was outstanding!!! Jimmy, our waiter, made us feel welcome, was patient with us not being able to make up our minds (too many good choices on the menu) and timing with appetizers and beverages was just right. Delicious food - thank goodness, the favorites are still there, along with many other items. Shrimp Longhi’s was as good as ever and we were able to get the Longhi’s Salad, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Desserts were out of this world. We had a lovely table on the Koi pond. It’s a serene setting, where you can sit, enjoy the delicious food and impeccable service. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Everybody at the restaurant is always very kind and professional. Well miss Erica, but Jimmy is the best! The food is always fantastic! See you in six months… 😎

The luau was going on on the grounds of the hotel right outside of the restaurant. The music and drums from the show were easily heard but not too loud. We could even see parts of the show from our table. The wine selection is quite good with multiple styles from multiple vineyards. Calamari appetizer was very good caprese salad was fantastic as the mozzarella was some of the best I have ever had. The Filet Mignon on the surf and turf melted in your mouth! Eggplant Parmesan was also very good. Would definitely go back.
